POV Dragon's Meal:

Five players with small medallions hanging from their necks sat on the ground under the green trees.

"Damn this, where are they? I thought this was supposed to be heaven for us PKers!" a player holding a long metal staff and wearing robes stitched together from various skins and furs had a bored expression on his face as he sat in a shrub.

"Just wait, I am telling you this forest is full of lawless noob players that we can legally kill." a tall player wearing a green hood attached to a green leather armour with a longbow hanging from his shoulder stood up, stretching his arms and legs.

Suddenly the leaves above them rustled, and a strong and hot wind flowed from the sky.

"What is this?"

"Ehhh, a wind?"

"Dang, I can see that, you idiot... I meant, what is its source!"

The one and only female between them stood up, her long white dress and brown hair moving in the wind, "Shut up, both of you. You will give out our position."

"Yes, miss Glade!"

"Yes, miss Glade!"

Something cracked, and tree branches above them broke down with loud noise as something big and dark smashed through them. All the trees in its path fell, and the clouds of smoke, dust and wood chips flew across the forest. Loud bangs echoed through the forest, and all five players jumped from the ground, grabbing their weapons in the chaos.

The smoke with occasional blue or gold flashes of electricity spread everywhere. MissGlade raised her palm into the air, and an intense whirl of wind created a small circle without any smoke around them.

The smoke outside the circle was so thick that they couldn't see further than a few steps away. Loud steps accompanied by the sound of cracking wood came from the smoke, and the temperature around them quickly rose, making them feel like they were in some forge.

"Miss Glade, something is coming!"

"Shut up and let me focus!"

"Is this a boss, miss Glade?"

"Stop spitting out such nonsense. Why would a boss-level monster just roam through a forest!"

A cold and deep voice came from the smoke, "To find nice walking pieces of fresh meat for a dinner!". The hairs on their bodies immediately stood up, horror on their faces.

"Shit, it must be that wyrm that locals rumours talk about!" the player with staff screamed.

MissGlade immediately smacked the screaming player, "What is this nonsense? There is no way that we have such bad luck. It must be just some illusionist trying to scare us!"

Something fast swished through the air. It was long and covered in a black stone with cracks filled with magma. It curled around one of the players, dragging him screaming back into the clouds of smoke.

It was so unexpected and fast that no one could react in time,

"Ahhh!" a fearful scream came from the smoke, followed by a bright flash of orange light and the sound of loud crunching. Finally, an audible gulp sent down shivers through their bodies.

"Was Bob just eaten?"

Blue light spiralled around a metallic staff held by the player before forming a large spiralling arrow of pure magical energy without any elements. It blasted forward, all of the smoke in its path disintegrating before its bright blue radiance, a new one replacing it soon after.

A blue light flashed from the smoke, followed by a long silence.

"Is it dead, miss Glade?"

Suddenly a large mass of armour rushed out of the smoke, its humongous draconic body dwarfing the players. Its deep reptilian eyes were glowing in the joy of hunt as it swung its long-clawed hand. The long claws covered in glowing letters cleaved the player with a bow into three parts, blood and entrails flowing out on the forest soil.

The wyrm in front of them opened its large mouth filled with a row of teeth that were easily longer than their arms, orange glowing magmatic saliva dripping down from them, "You have trespassed on mine territory wanting to hunt my servants. That makes you my food!"

Despair surged through their bodies. They may have their levels slightly higher than most players in the barony, but it made no difference in the face of a boss-level monster.

The player with staff jumped in front of MissGlade, "Miss glade, run we will..." before the player could finish his sentence, the wyrm moved, grabbing him with his clawed hand and throwing him into his mouth.

"As if I would run from an overgrown lizard!" the MissGlade launched towards the wyrm, winds propelling her forward as she struck with her small, gentle-looking fist enveloped by the sharp whirl of wind.

Her fist struck against the hard black wall-like armour, cracks spreading through it. She fell to the ground, her body spasming as tendrils of lighting flowed through her fist, entering her body.

Immediately the atmosphere changed, the heavy aura that made it hard to breathe descending on the forest, the wyrm eyes glowing in faint golden light, "How dare you to disgrace mighty draconic species by comparing them with lizards, you punny little imperfect human?"

POV Vesuvius:

Rage was surging through Vesuvius after getting insulted with one of the worst insults one can tell a dragon. His eye fell upon the paralyzed pesky woman under his feet.

"No, miss Glade!" The last remaining players shouted, rushing towards the injured woman.

Vesuvius opened his mouth, bright flames engulfing the last male player, his body turning into ash in an instant.

'Dead is too little of a punishment for a player!' the dragon grabbed the annoying woman into his large clawed hand, the hot and electrifying stone enveloping her whole body, burning her pale skin.

'I will capture her and lock her up!' there was no way that he, a proud dragon, would let such an insult just slide off.

For a player, it could be considered a fate worse than death, as their respawn point would be set into their cell. So their only way out was to get freed, escape, wait for the release or pay a large price in levels to get their respawn point reset.
