Brione could not look Cedric in the eye. He put her underwear back on and she let him do it. She was so embarrassed that she remained quiet.

He kissed her lips before he stood up from the bamboo boat and said, "I need to cool down sweetheart."

Brione watched him jump into the water. She was still feeling weak after that heated session which she never thought she would experience.

'Maybe I should jump in the water too!' she thought. She needed to cool down her red face as well!

Brione also stood up and jumped in the water. She swam till she got exhausted. She went near the falls so she could feel the waterfall running down on her. She was startled when Cedric suddenly appeared before her from under the water.

He snaked his arms around her waist and kissed her on her lips. He broke the kiss soon and pulled her out from under the waterfall since they were both having a hard time breathing.

"Y-You,- stop kissing me whenever you want," Brione mumbled with a pout. Cedric chuckled and said, "I thought you liked it since you were not complaining. As I said, I will stop if you want me to."

"Alright stop kissing me from now on," Brione scoffed.

"No, that's not how it goes. You should stop me when I'm kissing you, sweetheart," Cedric said with an evil smirk.

"I will take note of that," Brione whispered though she doubted she would stop the sly wolf! She must have denied him but it was hard to do so, maybe because her body was weak.

'Or maybe because she believed he was Gavin?' she debated. Her body had a mind of its own so even though her mind resisted letting him have his way, she would end up submitting to him eventually. Not to mention the fact that nothing felt wrong about the both of them kissing passionately.

"What are you thinking?" Cedric asked, noticing Brione zone out

"I'm just tired," she replied. So Cedric pulled her out of the water towards the cottage. Cedric grabbed a bathrobe and put it on Brione. He put one on him also before he bent down on the floor.

Brione was utterly surprised to see that the cottage had a secret passage. No wonder it was positioned beside the bottom of the waterfall cliff. Cedric opened it by pulling something on the floor and then the wall suddenly moved. There was a door secured with biometrics and password, Cedric opened it and they entered a cave house with modern amenities.

"Is it safe here?" Brione asked.

Cedric chuckled and said, "Of course this is safe. I hired the best engineers and architects to build and decorate this. It's also connected to the cave we went to a while ago. This is a secret hideout so no one knows about the existence of this place except for those who were involved in building this."

"Not even Will?" Brione asked to which Cedric nodded. He even told Brione the password.

"Come here," Cedric called for her and input her biometrics into the scanner.

"You don't need to do this. I mean I don't need to know the password and have access to this…" Brione whispered. Cedric ignored her and continued inputting her biometrics.

"I thought you said the food was here?" Brione said as she looked for the kitchen because she's hungry. She was startled when she felt Cedric's arms around her.

"Yeah, I will cook a quick meal for you so sit here and wait for me," he said, guiding her to sit on the kitchen counter chair.

"I want to look around," Brione said.

"Sure sweetheart. Take a look at this place while I prepare our lunch." Cedric answered.

Brione stood up and went to see the place. It was a huge home hidden inside the cliff. She saw some stairs that were leading up so she followed it. There were a few rooms, a library, and even a home gym. There was even a playroom with equipment to play things like table tennis, billiards, and more.

"Seriously?" she whispered in awe. She came back down to the first floor and looked around. There was a living area, dining room, kitchen, and minibar. She walked further and saw a metal door that required a password to open it. So she put her thumb on the scanner and it opened.

"Oh," she gasped, seeing the door was connected to the part of the cave with a crystal clear pool inside. She closed the door and walked further into the hallway. There was another door but it was bigger and when she opened it her eyes widened at the beautiful sight of the vast ocean on the other side of the cliff.

"It's like a secret passage if he wants to escape," Brione mumbled. She stepped back and closed it before walking out.

She wondered if there was a basement too but it seemed like there was none until she came across another one.

It needed her biometrics for access so she scanned it but it was not accepted.

"Huh?" she breathed and tried it again but it kept showing an error so she tried typing the password Cedric told but was once again showed the error screen.

"What could be in there?" she whispered, her curiosity was piqued. She wondered if there was a hidden vault behind the door like they do in movies.

She looked around and gasped when she realized that there was a big painting beside the door. It was big enough to cover the said door. She looked at the door then the painting and realized that it was indeed something made to cover the said door. She looked for a button or something to press to prove her deduction.

"There you are!"

She was so startled that she had to pat her chest hearing Cedric's voice.

"What are you doing here sweetheart?" he asked.

"What's down there?" Brione asked.

Cedric looked at it with a dark face and said, "There's nothing in there. Come, it's time to eat. The meal is ready. I'm not a good cook but I hope you like what I prepared."

He held Brione's shoulder and turned her around to walk in the direction of the kitchen.
