Brione was sulky the whole time and chose to lock herself up in her room after lunch. She kept herself busy studying the script for her new drama.

She should have been enjoying herself but she was not in the mood to go out today. She walked towards her bedside drawer. She opened it and grabbed the documents inside.

She heaved a long sigh and grabbed her mobile phone. She contemplated whether to call or just send a message. In the end, she decided to just send a message.

Cedric was reading some documents when his mobile phone beeped and for the first time, he felt wonderful receiving a message from Brione.

[I want to discuss the clauses in the agreement with you. Are you available?]

Cedric had a wicked grin on her face as he typed his reply and sent it.

[I'm always available for you, sweetheart. Only for you.]

Brione's face crumpled and scoffed, "Yeah, right. Then why did you have lunch with your childhood sweetheart instead."

She then sighed, realizing how childishly she was acting. It took her some time to decide when to meet and discuss the matter with Cedric and before she could type her reply her mobile phone beeped and it was Cedric saying,

[How about we discuss it after a wonderful dinner tonight?]

Brione bit her lip and decided to agree and typed a single word in reply 'Okay'.

She put the documents back in her drawer. She stood up and checked her appearance in the mirror. She should go out and have fun with her team instead of letting Cedric's childhood sweetheart affect her.

She was a bit disappointed that Cedric was not asking her out for a stroll when he clearly said he missed her. Was it because he was busy taking care of his childhood sweetheart?

"Brione stop!" she hissed, scolding herself when she realized she was doing it again! Being sulky, thinking about Cedric and his childhood sweetheart.

She opened the door and was startled to see Cedric at her door. He was wearing an awkward somewhat hesitant expression.

He smiled and said, "Hmm, I wondered if you're in your room so I thought to check on you and ask if you would like to take a walk with me? I know I promised I would take you for a stroll but I suddenly had a headache so I rested for a while instead. I planned to rest a bit more in my room, but I miss you so badly that I can't stop myself from coming here."

Brione's face reddened at Cedric's straightforwardness. He was not even stammering or blinking as he said such candid words like missing her badly. And just like that, he once again succeeded in making her hearrt flutter.

"How about we discuss the clause now so I can sign the papers already?" Brione suggested.

"Weren't you going out?" Cedric reconfirmed.

"Not really. Come follow me," Brione said and walked back into her room.

"Sit here and I'll get the documents from the bedroom," she instructed and Cedric quietly obeyed, feeling good that Brione seemed to feel comfortable around him. It was a good sign for him.

Brione returned with the documents soon and casually sat beside Cedric on the couch. She had a lot of questions and she wanted answers, but none of them were about the documents. Instead, they were all about the incident Cedric had mentioned that happened to him a year ago where he said his wolves saved his life.

She knew she should not ask them all at that instant. She must bring them forth naturally during the course of their conversation.

"What about the clauses?" Cedric asked as Brione handed him the copy.

"Yeah, this one, clause 4 where it says that we can have more intimate moments than kissing, touching, and hugging?" Brione said bashfully.

"Yeah, given that party A, you will agree to it." Cedric continued. He turned to Brione and with those sexy and teasing lips said, "Don't tell me you're not confident about your own self-control?"

Brione's face reddened and she quickly defended herself, "Of course I'm confident!"

"Good, then that clause is good to go!" Cedric stated triumphantly.

"Clause 6. We will live together. Seriously?" Brione burst out.

"That's needed if we mean to have a harmonious relationship, sweetheart. You see it's better this way, so whenever we need each other it would be easy. Besides we will have separate rooms so I don't see anything inappropriate about it?" Cedric justified.

Brione heaved a long sigh then turned to face Cedric and in a serious and firm tone said, "I will sign this now and will not question anything at all. But you must promise to answer all of my questions truthfully. No lies or keeping anything back. If you want this relationship with me to work, well then, we must be completely honest with each other, no secrets at all."

"Alright, I promise Bri. I will not hide anything from you." Cedric said with a serious expression. Brione signed the documents. Cedric watched her keenly and wondered about the questions Brione would ask?

He was not nervous at all because he had no plans about lying to Brione. Whatever she asked him, he would answer it truthfully.

"Here…" Brione said, handing over the documents to him.

A satisfied smile curled Cedric's lips as he whispered, "Thank you so much sweetheart, for agreeing to be my woman."

Brione stared at him and Cedric knew she was getting ready to fire those questions in her head so he said, "Alright, fire them all away."

"Do you have amnesia?" Brione asked first. Cedric was caught off-guard by that question but as he had no plans to lie he answered, "Yes."

Brione's eyes widened. So it is true. Or was it too early for her to rejoice?

"How? I mean why? Because of the incident a year ago?" she asked in a rush. Her heart was drumming hard inside her chest. She held her breath as she waited anxiously for Cedric's answer.
