There was a moment of silence after what Kimmy said. Harry felt a lump in his throat. He sighed, and finally, he managed to say, "Won't he get hurt now that you come back for me here like this after he pulled you away?"

"He would. That's why I need to come back to him soon. I hope you are stronger now, unlike before. You will make me very happy if I see you have a good life, Harry… Not just you working your a*ss off in the company but seeing you open your heart when the right woman for you comes along."

"Remember, life is very precious, and things happen for a reason. We may not sometimes get what we want because there's something better coming our way. And I am sure you will have another chance Harry but this time, make sure you grab the opportunity and not let her get away because of your past."

Harry exhaled loudly. He finally turned to Kimmy, and with a reassuring half-smile, he said, "I will lie if I say I am fine, but please don't worry about me. I will not do anything stupid. I'm stronger now compared to before because you help me a lot…"

Kimmy smiled and added, "and not to mention the family you will leave behind. Your father and brother, right?"

Harry nodded. Regardless of what happened in the past and what his mother did, his adoptive father still treated him like his own son, and his father's real son Daryl, in time, learned to forgive him, and they were currently having a good relationship now.

Harry honestly felt that things were sailing smoothly except for one thing, and he realized it very late. He just lost her… the only person missing in his life.

"You have to go. I will stay a bit here, and I will soon leave the place too. Don't worry too much about me, Kimmy. I understand well how one's life is very precious, so I am treasuring my life now more than you know."

Kimmy smiled and looked straight into Harry's eyes. She could tell that Harry was not lying because he was unable to meet her in the eyes for too long whenever he would.

She stood up and said, "Alright. I will leave now, Harry. If you need anything while you are here, then please do not hesitate to tell me."

"I will. Thank you, Kimmy." Harry said.

"Don't thank me, please, because I honestly feel embarrassed to meet you again in these circumstances. I am sorry," Kimmy said.

Harry managed to chuckle and said, "fine. Go leave now, or he might misunderstand you if you take too long."

"It's really nice to see you again, Harry," Kimmy said. Then she waved at him and turned around to leave.

"...before I change my mind and not let you go," Harry whispered while never leaving his gaze at Kimmy's back that eventually went out of his sight.

Kimmy almost tripped as she ran back to where she left Cain. She stopped, panting as she looked around.

"Did he leave?" she burst as she looked at her wristwatch, thinking if it took her long enough for Cain not to wait for her. Kimmy put her hands on her waist as she continued to catch her breath. She could not believe Cain would leave her like that! She looked around all the benches in the area, but he was not there.

"I thought you would get thirsty for running too much, so I bought you water," Cain whispered from behind.

The corners of Kimmy's lips turned up. She quickly turned and hugged Cain tightly.

"I thought you left already," she whispered, burying her face on his chest. He was so warm, and he smelled so good as usual.

Cain smiled and hugged Kimmy back. He saw her looking around, and he could not help but savor those moments, knowing Kimmy was desperately looking for him that he even purposely hid while staring at her expression.

Cain's heart was jumping with joy as he read Kimmy's expression from afar. His nervousness in waiting was all worth it.

"Did you have a proper closure with him?" Cain asked.

"Yeah, and I'm proud of him. He's different now compared to before, so I'm not worried anymore knowing he will not do something stupid like before," Kimmy replied.

"That's good to hear. Again, I'm sorry that I have to interrupt like that," Cain murmured.

Kimmy lifted her head and, with a pout, complained, "you have to compensate. It would be a waste if we just left so how about we stay and enjoy? It's been a while since I've been into a theme park."

Cain chuckled and said, "alright, let's see what we have in here. First, drink this since you've been running back and forth."

Cain opened the water and handed it to Kimmy, who obediently drank it.

"What?" Kimmy asked because Cain was staring intently at her.

Cain wanted to ask, 'will you marry me,' but it was too soon. He pulled her close to him and kissed Kimmy's forehead as he whispered, "you're so beautiful."

Kimmy's face reddened. She tilted her head and gave him a proper kiss on his lips instead. Cain was caught off guard but savored those precious moments. Kimm soon released his lips and mumbled, "I prefer that you kiss my lips than my forehead."

Cain chuckled and gave her a nose-to-nose kiss while he whispered, "I got you, my princess, loud and clear."

Both of them laughed, then the couple walked holding hands and strolled at the theme park with bright smiles on their faces. Kimmy turned at Cain and said, "Is this our first date?"

"Unexpectedly, yes. Later I will treat you to a nice dinner." Cain answered with a grin.

Kimmy nodded with a giggle, and Cain pulled her closer into his arms as they walked. They looked so adorable and very intimate while walking inside the theme park.

The two forgot that they were actually in a public place, and some recognized Kimmy.. Others took photos and videos that became trending and viral in no time.
