The two elders watched as Cain left the room next.
"Tell me, Sean… Something is going on between those two, right?" Leila whispered, still staring at the door where the two went out.
Sean chuckled and said, "Maybe."
"Ah, my daughter is so stubborn. Why can't she admit her feelings when other people can notice it already!" Leila complained. She was becoming impatient. She did not know what was wrong with her daughter that she kept on denying and dragging things out between her and Cain.
Harry seemed a pleasant man too. He did nothing but praise her daughter throughout that she could tell Harry had feelings for Kimmy. So why did he let Kimmy slip away from his hands when he already had the advantage when Kimmy was with him and their family?
Nevertheless, she still rooted for Cain since she knew Cain's family well and that man was like a son to her already.
"Give her some time, and I'm sure Cain will handle everything well," Sean commented with a reassuring smile that Leila could only sigh. She was trying her best not to meddle, but her daughter needed some dose of her own medicine to wake up!
As soon as Cain was outside the room, he followed Kimmy and caught her wrist in the hallway.
"Let's go," Cain authoritatively said and gently pulled her as he walked ahead of her, going towards the parking lot, with him firmly holding Kimmy's hand.
Cain opened the door for her and said, "Get inside."
Kimmy quietly got inside Cain's car. She felt like she was a robot because she was following whatever Cain was saying. She did not hate it, but she was worried because Cain had power over her.
Cain started the engine and turned on the car's aircon, but he did not step on the gas. He slightly turned to the right and looked intently at Kimmy.
"I told you I am willing to take responsibility, Kimberly. And you should take responsibility… If you're worried about marriage, then I will not force you to do it. All I want is that we enjoy each other's company until you are ready for us to take the next step," Cain said in a lowly manner. He could read what was bothering Kimmy, and he was willing to say and do things just for Kimmy to feel at ease.
Kimmy bit her lower lip and sighed deeply. She tilted her head to look at Cain, who was keenly staring at her. "So we are like a couple now?" Kimmy whispered.
Cain grabbed her hands and gently squeezed them as he said, "Of course we are. Do you want us to be just sex buddies?"
Kimmy was caught off guard by Cain's open question. That was crude.
"Because I don't like that set-up. I'm serious with my intentions towards you, and I'm not playing games. I appreciate you, and I want you. And I…" Cain hanged the words, balancing the situation if it was safe enough to confess his true feelings to Kimmy.
"Alright…" Kimmy suddenly answered before deciding whether to add 'I love you' in his unfinished lines.
"Alright?" Cain whispered, blinking his eyes while waiting for Kimmy to clarify her answer.
"Yes, let's become an official couple. I mean, it's not in my character to just let anyone do it with me. I mean that thing we just did a while ago," Kimmy bashfully whispered. She did not know why she felt so shy mentioning it.
Cain could not hide his teasing smile, seeing how Kimmy blushed so hard. He lovingly touched her cheeks, gently caressing them as he whispered, "Thank you."
It was her first time entering into a relationship, and she did not know whether she could handle things properly, but Kimmy wanted to try because Cain was someone she felt she could trust.
Cain leaned closer, and Kimmy gulped. She closed her eyes, thinking Cain would kiss her. But it took long, and she did not feel his lips on hers, so she opened her eyes.
Cain's face was too close to her, just an inch away while he just stared at her face.
"What?" Kimmy whispered, blinking.
"Nothing… Just that you look so beautiful and adorable," Cain whispered on her lips before he gently sucked on her bottom then upper lips.
Kimmy's world was turning upside down whenever Cain would tease her like that. It was very sensual and arousing that she wanted more. There was no hope for her because she was caught in Cain's trap using intimate movements, whether she admitted it or not.

Kimmy's face crumpled, but she no longer replied, or else Cain would just tease her again. Cain gave her nose a peck before pulling the seat belt and locking it on Kimmy's side.
"Are we going to the meeting?" Kimmy asked.
"Nope, I will bring you on a date. We are an official couple now, so I want to pamper my girlfriend." Cain commented as he stepped on the gas and drove out of the parking lot.
"But I'm not comfortable walking!" Kimmy complained. She would not enjoy it since something was aching between her thighs.
"Oh right… I know where to bring you so you can also have enough rest," Cain commented with a bright smile.
Kimmy suspiciously looked at him but then, in the end, she could not help but smile like him while she wondered where Cain would bring her.
Kimmy bit her bottom lip. She was startled when Cain grabbed one of her hands and held it lovingly that he even kissed its knuckles before he had it firmly.
