Olivia felt lost while listening to the conversation. She stared again at the people inside the adjacent room and asked, "What are they doing there? Why aren't they out of the room yet?"

It was the same question for Lucas. A while ago, Kevin asked his men to escort Brione and her friends into another room, then Kevin escorted him, Noah, Luo, and Damiel to a separate room.

After some minutes, Kevin went back to get him. He asked what was going on and why he was the only one out of the room, but Kevin told him that Gavin would explain everything.

And now, he was placed in another room adjacent to where Damiel, Noah, and Luo were in.

"Yes, son. Why are they still inside?" Lucas asked. They heard the conversation inside. Noah and Luo were trying to calm Damiel, who kept asking the two what was going on.

"You will find out soon, father. I will now go inside," Gavin said and looked at Brione, giving her a signal to take care of their father, Lucas. Brione nodded in understanding. Meanwhile, Will asked Olivia to sit down too in front of the two-way glass.

"Do you know what's going on, Will?" Olivia whispered.

"I'm not sure either, Olivia. His Highness did not disclose anything to anyone at all, but I'm sure will be able to find out now all the connections and what was happening, Olivia," Will explained.

Will was standing behind Olivia, and he could not help but feel blissful since it was the first time Olivia talked to him after that incident with her brother. He was hoping that once Gavin finally uncovered the truth and punished the real culprit in killing Oliver, Olivia would come back to her old self.

Gavin loudly inhaled and exhaled before he entered the room.

"You're here," Noah whispered.

Gavin nodded and said, "Can you and Luo leave first? I need to talk to him."

Noah nodded, then pulled Luo outside.

Gavin looked at the man sitting on a chair in the four-corner room with a blank expression.

"Son…" Damiel weakly whispered.

Gavin casually sat in front of him.

"I assume you already know why you are here," Gavin said with a heavy heart, wondering if Luo was right and Damiel would say things as Luo analyzed. He would be too disappointed if Damiel would do that.

"Because of Duncan? Yes, I am connected with him. I will admit that. He asked me to get you to the orphanage and take care of you. But I also chose to stay with you to protect you because I love you as my son… It's the only way to protect you, to follow what he wants, or else he would get another man to take care of you who might be someone who will not love and look at you as a real son," Damiel stated.

"The operation was a success, and they caught him. Duncan… the real Duncan. Tell me honestly, do you think Duncan deserves what's coming his way? Do you think YOU deserve it?"

Duncan's face paled…

"Do you believe that you could hide your real identity for good? You probably thought that if you planted a man with your face in your main headquarter, then everything would go smoothly in your backup plan. I am sure right now you will still feign ignorance and stick to your story that you're just a victim too of Duncan, thinking, in the end, I will just let you go and let the man using your face rot in prison instead."

Lucas, who was watching the scene inside, clenched his fist as his knees suddenly weakened, causing him almost to fall, but Noah caught him fast.

"This…" Lucas' breath hitched.

"Yes, that man is the real Duncan and not the man with Duncan's face that Zach and his team caught in his headquarters," Noah explained. Luo predicted this, and his wife was right.

"He had a face surgery to change his face before he appeared at the orphanage to get Gavin back using that fake identity as Damiel. I happened to see it in the diary of Gavin's mother that you sent us, uncle Lucas. Uncle Cecilia mentioned there that Duncan is left-handed. I happened to notice how left-handed Damiel is too."

"It was hard since Duncan's DNA sample is impossible to get. He also managed to fake some details long ago, like his prints. So I tried making a comparison of the handwritings using the letters you sent to us with the help of experts and it was a match, Damiel and Duncan's writings are the same." Luo added.

Lucas did send Cecilia's things as to how Gavin sorted them out that could help the investigation. They also sent the remaining possessions of Duncan they seized long ago for the examination.

"Then plastic surgery came to mind, so I investigated further in that area and checked all plastic surgeons at that time that operated illegally in this country. It's not easy, but we are fortunate enough to have a good connection with the underworld to find the man we need. He is now in custody as a state witness. He was the son of the doctor who changed Duncan's face. We also caught the man responsible for his fake identities before he left this country." Luo elaborated.

"He is so sneaky that no one would suspect him. My husband and Brione here, who knew him since they were young, was still unable to fathom this truth." Luo continued discussing how she did the finalization of her theory based on evidence they got.

"My poor son," Lucas weakly gasped. Brione immediately guided her father-in-law on a chair and said, "Sorry, father, if we keep things from you. Gavin is afraid that your emotion will take over once you face uncle Damiel… I mean Duncan. We need to make sure that there will be no suspicion on his side not to jeopardize this operation.. Gavin wanted to confront him personally and find out the truth of what happened that day to his mother and him."
