Mitch slept during the entire flight while Berry couldn't sleep because of excitement. She was eager to see the palace. This was their first time visiting the Derham Palace.
For her, this was a very rare opportunity so she would make the most of her time exploring the palace.
Aside from the palace, there was another reason why Berry seemed very excited to reach their destination. She was looking forward to seeing Will once again.
She already made up her mind that she would ask Will to tour her around. She wouldn't waste this chance to spend quality time with him and become closer to him.
So no matter what, she must ensure that Will would be the person who would accompany her while roaming around the palace.
After several hours, the plane landed at Country B's International Airport. Kevin was already waiting at the arrival area. He was there to fetch Berry and Mitch.
Kevin was sitting in the arrival waiting lounge when he received a message from Mitch. She told her that they had already arrived and were now on their way to the arrival gate.
Kevin stood up right away, peering his eyes at his surroundings. He was searching for Mitch. The passengers were now approaching the arrival area.
Kevin's lips curled up into a bright smile as soon as his eyes spotted Mitch's figure. He missed her so much.
It did not take long when their eyes met. Kevin immediately waved his hand at her. Berry finally saw Kevin when Mitch waved back at him.
Berry was about to tease her friend when Mitch suddenly ran in Kevin's direction. It seemed that Mitch was not able to control her longing for Kevin.
She gave him a rib-crushing hug as soon as she reached his spot. Kevin welcomed her with open arms, hugging her tightly.
Berry could only shake her head helplessly seeing their public display of affection.
"Tsk… I am eating dog food again. Okay, I will just let this slide for now because I know how much they missed each other," Berry mumbled before dragging their luggage.
Kevin and Mitch just broke apart from that warm embrace when Berry cleared her throat, letting them know that other passengers and bystanders were watching the couple.
Mitch bit her lower lip with her cheeks blushing from embarrassment. They immediately asked Kevin to guide them to the car. Berry could no longer wait to see the palace.
Kevin grabbed their luggage, leading them to the area where he parked his car. He opened the car door for both women. Mitch sat in the front passenger seat while Berry stayed in the back.
When Mitch and Berry settled down inside the car, Kevin stepped into the driver's seat. He started the car and left the airport.
"What are your plans tonight?" Berry asked the couple. There was a teasing smile on her face as she watched them from the back.
"I'm dropping you both at the palace. His highness, Gavin and Brione might be waiting for both of you already. You will have dinner in the palace," Kevin responded.
Berry arched her eyebrow after hearing his response.
"Hey, it's still early. Why don't you and Mitch go out to have some catching up? You can drop me there and I will tell Brione that you and Mitch can't join us because you have another plan. I know Gavin and Brione will understand," Berry suggested, winking at them.
Berry was playing as a wing woman again for the couple. Kevin glanced at Mitch meaningfully. He had to admit that he liked Berry's suggestion.
He wanted to spend some time alone with Mitch. They missed each other so tonight was a good opportunity to compensate each other for the time they were apart.
Kevin turned to Mitch to ask her opinion.
"Mitch, do you want to go out with me or do you want to stay in the palace to meet Brione and Gavin?"
'Come on! Choose the first option!' Berry muttered to herself as she waited for Mitch's answer.
After a while, Mitch nodded her head and answered him.
"Let's go out. I wanna come with you and visit your place as well."
Both Kevin and Berry rejoiced inwardly after getting Mitch's response.
'Yes! Now that I'm alone and Mitch is not around, I will have a more valid reason to ask Will to entertain me and tour me around the palace. Aside from Kevin, Will is the only person I know here. Brione and Gavin will be busy spending their time with Noah, Luo, and Uncle Damiel!'
That's Berry's real motive for pushing Kevin and Mitch to go out and spend time with each other.
Berry was grinning from ear to ear as she was getting ready to do her next move. Upon arriving at the palace, she would search for Will right away.
After twenty minutes, the three of them arrived at the palace. Just like what they had agreed, Mitch and Kevin just dropped Berry. They left the palace right away while Berry entered the palace with the guidance of the royal servant.
"Mister, do you know where to find Will, Prince Cedric's best friend?" Berry started asking the servant about Will's whereabouts.
"Sir Will is with Prince Gavin right now. They are waiting for you in the dining area. The dinner is already served in the dining hall." The servant informed Berry.
Berry just nodded her head. They were now walking in the beautiful palace hallway. She couldn't help but admire everything she could see in the palace.
It did not take long when they reached the dining hall. Brione and others were already there, waiting for them. Berry's eyes sparkled with delight upon seeing the man she had been thinking about ever since she boarded the plane.
'OMG! Will has become more gorgeous!'
Brione and Gavin immediately approached Berry, asking her why she was alone. Berry explained that Kevin and Mitch went out for a date since they had lots of catching up to do.
They introduced Berry to King Lucas before they started eating dinner. Berry couldn't take her eyes off Will. She was stealing glances from him during the entire dinner.
When the dinner was done, Berry approached Will.
"Hi, Will!"
"Hello, Ms. Berry. I'm so happy to see you here."
"I said don't call me Miss. Just call me Berry." Berry pouted her lips.
Will scratched his face before smiling sheepishly.
"Alright. I'm sorry, I forgot. From now on, I will not call you Miss anymore."
"Hmph. Your apology is not accepted." Berry said, folding her arms across her chest as she pretended to be upset.
"Huh? But why?" Kevin asked her with amusement.
"I will forgive you but in one condition…" Berry mumbled, fighting a smile.
"What condition?" Will asked her again.
"Hmm, Can you tour me around the palace?" Berry said, looking at him with anticipation.
Will didn't respond yet. He was just staring at her. He thought she would ask him something difficult.
"I mean if you are not busy tonight, can you tour me around? You know… I'm really looking forward to exploring the palace." Berry lowered her head, afraid that Will would refuse her.
"Hmm, sure! I'm not busy tonight.. I can accompany you and tour you around," Will responded with a smile.
