Kimmy loudly exhaled before she knocked on Cain's car window.

"What is it? Do you know what time it is?" she asked Cain with lifted eyebrows.

Cain only flashed her his roguish smile as he said, "please get inside the car. I can't sleep so how about you accompany me for some hot milk and chocolate? I know I can have it at home, but I feel like going out. I might end up drinking alone, and I don't want to do that. Gavin and Will are too busy to bug now, so… I thought I could ask you instead…"

"You don't make sense, do you know that. Look at me? I'm in my sleepwear already. I don't get you w…"

"Please just get inside the car? It's cold, and you wear thin clothes," Cain murmured. He got out of the car, so Kimmy stepped backward.

Kimmy flinched when Cain held her shoulders and gently urged her to walk to the passenger's seat.

"Hey… I didn't agree to go with you," Kimmy complained.

Cain ignored her and said, "Then, I'll carry you inside, Kimberly."

"What is wrong with you? Are you kidnapping me?"

Cain chuckled and said, "It's not. I promise I will behave and won't do things against your will, Kimberly. Just come with me, and let's talk over hot choco milk. Don't worry because you did not need to get out of the car. I'll go to a drive-thru to buy them."

Kimmy did not know why but she ended up going inside Cain's car. She was somehow curious to know what it was that he wanted. She could sense that Cain had something going on to see her like this.

"Oh, what's this?" she mumbled, seeing a coin on the seat. She grabbed it before sitting comfortably. She waited for Cain to get inside the car before asking, "why do you have a gold eagle bullion coin on the seat? Did someone leave it here behind?"

"Oh, that. It's mine. I did toss a coin a while ago. I forgot to put it back." Cain commented. He stepped on the gas and grove out of Hansen's vicinity as soon as Kimmy put on her seatbelt.

"Toss a coin?" Kimmy mumbled while looking at the coin.

"Yeah, I do that often whenever I'm having a hard time deciding or choosing."

"Really? What did you choose? Eagle or head?" Kimmy asked, her curiosity piqued.

"I chose the eagle as always for a yes," Cain whispered.

"So did the eagle appear in the toss coin, or was it the head?" Kimmy continued asking.

"Well…" Cain paused and shook his head while a playful smile crept on his face.

Turning her head on him, Kimmy asked, "Well? Is it the eagle?"

"It's the head," Cain answered.

"Oh, so it's a no! Care to tell me what it is that you're having a hard time deciding?"

Cain did not answer, but he moved the steering wheel to stop the car at the side of the road.

"Why are we stopping? Kimmy asked with a creased forehead. She turned to Cain but regretted it since he was intently staring at her.

*Thump *thump *thump

There it goes again - the radical beating of her heart just with Cain's stare in her eyes alone. Was she falling in love, or was it only lust? Before, she assumed that she was already falling in love with Cain, but she had a second thought because of Harry. She wanted to make sure of her feelings before entering into a relationship.

"Why are you curious?" Cain asked.

"Huh?"

"What is it that I'm having a hard time deciding? Where I even toss a coin to decide."

Kimmy's eyebrows lifted, and she said, "why not? What's wrong, if I'm curious? If you don't want to tell, then don't."

Cain smiled, seeing how crumpled Kimmy's face was.

"Since you came here with me and ended up accompanying me, then I will tell you…"

"Never mind… I'm no longer interested. Let's just go back," Kimmy scoffed, making Cain laugh.

"You're too cute, Kimberly," Cain commented, making Kimmy blushed.

"Anyway, I can't decide whether to go or not in your house and get you tonight, so I did that toss a coin thing."

"It's a head, right? So that means you shouldn't come and bug me like this!" Kimmy burst in disbelief.

Cain chuckled, and instead of answering, he raised his hand and amusingly pinched her nose as he amusingly whispered, "because I wanted to. I'm missing you, and I want to see you before I go to sleep."

Kimmy bit her inner cheek as she moved back, afraid that Cain would initiate any intimacy again since he was getting closer.

"Tell me, are you going to meet with that, Harry? Is he the one you mentioned to me before that you love back in country D?" Cain suddenly asked. He knew the answer to it already, but he wanted to hear it personally from Kimmy… That confirmation.

He stared deeply into Kimmy's eyes as he waited for her answer.

That question caught Kimmy off guard that she ended up parting her lips. She tried to speak, but no words were coming out. She started feeling nervous, and she questioned why she was feeling like that when there was nothing wrong if she had plans to meet Harry and tell the same to Cain.

"Kimberly…" Cain whispered, and this time he looked dangerous. His eyes that were staring at her went down to her parted lips.

"Sh*T!" Cain muttered before he grabbed and pulled Kimmy against him and crushed his lips into her parted lips. Kimmy fought her way out hard but like how it would often end… she closed her eyes and savored the luscious taste of their lips against each other.

Cain had his ways like he had this magnet pulling her in whenever his lips were on hers.

'It's so damn good to be kissed by this man!' she subconsciously mused.
