At Lewis Residence.
After dinner, Cain went straight to his room. He had a quick shower and changed to his sleepwear. It was still early to sleep, but he would try to clear his mind and think of a good plan now that he would have a rival.
He called his secretary to ask when his meeting with the Cha Group representative and who he would meet.
"The schedule is in three days, Sir. They haven't called us yet to reconfirm the schedule and inform the exact name and position of who would be visiting your office at that time to meet."
"I don't want to meet in my office. Tell them that I will meet their representative outside. You set a good place and time they will agree with," Cain instructed before ending the call.
He laid down on his bed and blankly stared at the ceiling of his room.
He grabbed his mobile phone and stared at the screen for a long time. Still, no message from Kimmy, and he was feeling more anxious.
"Did she already forget or disregard me now that Harry is here?" he annoyingly murmured. He was hurting just at the thought of it.
He was too startled when his mobile phone rang, and he blinked.
"Speaking of that little bunny!" he murmured with a smile. His heart suddenly leaped from his chest while he quickly answered the phone.
Cain raised his body from his bed and sat as she answered, "Hello."
"Yeah, I just called to tell you that I plan to sleep with Mom for days or whenever my dad is not here. I'm not sure how many days to sleep here yet," Kimmy informed. She bit her lower lip as she waited for Cain's reply.
If she would see him at work, then Cain would not dare be aggressive towards her. She did not trust her body at all, so it was better not to be with Cain in places where they could have some privacy, like his home where there was only one balcony connecting their bedrooms! It was a good alibi for her to escape and avoid Cain for any possible intimate moments.
"Alright, I will come to pick you up and drop you off there whenever you plan to sleep there Kimmy," Cain stated, hoping Kimmy would agree on the idea, but he was hundred percent sure Kimmy would refuse.
"No! Are you for real? No way! Let's meet at work!" Kimmy scoffed as Cain kissing her often inside the car flashed inside her head. They might end up doing the thing inside the car since her body was too weak whenever Cain was near her! She was not ready to surrender her virginity to a man yet! Not when she was unsure of what she truly felt.
Was she falling in love with Cain? But how come she suddenly felt nervous knowing Harry was around? Plus, she wanted to meet with Harry still though Cain's angry face kept on flashing in her head.
She was not sure if she was falling for Cain or what she was feeling was pure lust towards him. She was getting anxious because she was perplexed!
"Why not Kimberly? Why can't I pick you up and drop you off?" Cain still asked though he already knew the answer.
"Can't it be just because I don't want you to?" Kimmy mumbled with a pout. She could not tell Cain her dilemma with them being alone together in a place where kissing was possible, like his own car!
"Okay fine… If you don't want to, I won't. You're the master anyway, and I'm just a humble servant who will follow what you want, Kimberly. I will hang up now. Good night Kimberly and have a good rest." Cain said before he ended the call.
He heaved a long deep sigh as he slumped his body back on his bed and started again on the ceiling. He wondered if it would be okay to push himself to Kimmy or not. But so far, it seemed effective if he was a bit aggressive to Kimmy.
It was not good to ask her. Cain thought it would be best just to surprise her tomorrow and still come to pick her up. It was along the way, too, so he could have a good alibi tomorrow.
Cain closed his eyes and tried to sleep. He stayed like that for minutes but ended up sitting on his bed again and sighing several times.
He already checked Harry's profile, and he could not find anything bad about the man except that he was excellent at everything. Brione said Kimmy knew something. Maybe some family secrets involving Harry that tagged him as a bad person? Kimmy was drawn to him since he was someone bad that changed for good, according to Brione.
He could not help but get curious to find out more! He wanted to know how Harry became a bad person and changed? He wanted to know if Kimmy still loved Harry.
"Stop overthinking Cain like what father said," he murmured to himself as he once again tried to clear his thoughts.
But nothing was helping, so he stood up from his bed and changed some casual clothes. He grabbed his car keys and went out of his bedroom.
Cain ended up inside his car. There was a pause as he contemplated whether to proceed in going out or not. Whenever he was like this, he would often toss a coin to decide!
He grabbed his favorite gold eagle bullion coin and mused, 'if it's an eagle, then I will go, and if not, then I will just drink milk and sleep!'
He threw the coin and caught it before pinning it on the passenger seat. He slowly removed his hand and looked at it.
Cain exhaled loudly and ended up driving his car to go to Hansen Mansion. He had no intention of going inside, but he wanted to see Kimmy and asked her something in person, or else he might end up not sleeping the whole night.
He was not sure if Kimmy would meet him or not, but he would still try. It was still early anyway.. He would arrive at Hansen's Mansion by 8 PM.
