By the time Gavin and Brione went back to the waiting room, they saw Cain and Kimmy, sitting far away from each other as if they had a fight.

"Your Highness," Cain stood up and greeted him with a small smile. "Miss Brione." He nodded at her in acknowledgment.

"Cedric, Brione!" Kimmy's face brightened up in relief when she saw them both. She walked towards them and gave them a hug.

"It's been so long." Brione was delighted to see Kimmy once again especially when she was such a lively person and easy to get along with.

"Cain, let's start, shall we?" Gavin said as he sat on the couch. He had become impatient since he knew that he shouldn't waste time especially when he had other things to take care of.

Brione gave Cain an apologetic look to which Cain just flashed her a smile since he understood Gavin's position.

"I need everyone to be quiet for a while," Cain instructed before he focused on Gavin. He took out his phone and played a tick-tock sound. "Please close your eyes and relax."

Gavin did as Cain told and closed his eyes. He was different from the other doctor his father Damiel suggested.

"Every sound that you hear causes you to go deeper and deeper into this calm state of relaxation," Cain said slowly with his deep, soothing voice which enabled his patient to slowly relax. His voice was trying to lull him into a hypnotic trance.

Kimmy and Brione quietly watched from the corner. They didn't dare make a sound the moment Cain began his hypnotherapy towards Gavin.

Cain's was really honey to the ears that even Brione and Kimmy couldn't help but relax because of his voice. If they were to close their eyes and follow his instructions, they were sure that they would also fall for his hypnosis!

As Gavin continued to listen to the ticking of the clock coming from Cain's phone and to his smooth voice, his body began to relax. His shoulders slump and a few seconds later, his head drooped.

When Cain finally saw the rapid eye movement under Gavin's eyelids, he knew that the other man was now under his hypnosis. And so, he began by asking a question to Gavin. "When was the last time you saw your father, Gavin?"

"It was during the evening…" Gavin responded. "Our last dinner together."

"Can you tell me what happened?" Cain urged.

Gavin began telling him what happened that night. While having dinner with Damiel, he asked him about his mother and where he was born.

The reason why he asked those questions was because while he was working as an Anchor, he helped a staff member with his research about the Prince of Country B and that's where he found out about Cedric.

"Father told me about my mother and how she died when I was 5." Gavin continued.

"And did you believe him?" Cain asked.

"Yes. Everything he said was true since I remember…"

Cain was taking notes of what he was saying from time to time before he inquired once again, "did you tell him about Prince Cedric?"

"Yes. I told my father. I even showed him a photo from my phone," he answered.

"What did he tell you?"

"That… everyone has their own doppelganger somewhere in the world that when they meet, they would end up looking like twins."

"Did you believe him?"

"Yes."

Cain nodded. What Damiel said was not entirely false. He was only stating facts so it was easy to believe his words. "So was he able to convince you to stay?"

"Yes."

"Then why did you leave?"

Gavin paused and sighed before he replied, "I want to make sure… something inside me was pulling me to Perdu Island. Even if Cedric could be my doppelganger, he could also be my twin brother. I needed to make sure."

"That's understandable," Brione said in a hush while listening to them.

On the other hand, Kimmy was confused the whole time since she didn't know that the Prince with them was actually not Cedric but was actually Gavin.

"Why is Cain asking him about Prince Cedric when he's with us?" Kimmy wondered as she turned to Brione with a puzzled look on her face.

Ah… Brione was reminded that Kimmy actually didn't know the truth yet. Only a few people knew about the truth.

"Well you see… Prince Cedric has a twin brother, and he is Gavin. The man with us now is Gavin," she confessed to Kimmy.

"Wha--"

Brione quickly covered her mouth. "Shh." She hushed. "We're not allowed to make a noise, remember? I will tell you the complete details later"

Kimmy cast her eyes towards Gavin who was still in the state of hypnosis before she finally nodded her head.

Brione sighed heavily after lowering her hands from covering Kimmy's mouth.

"If he's Prince Gavin… and he wanted to see Cedric back then… I guess blood will always be thicker than water. They said that twins have this unique connection… Twintuition?" Kimmy whispered back to the woman beside her.

Brione's eyes lit at the word. "No wonder. Even if twins are apart, they still have this kind of connection."

Cain paused and eyed the girls on the side, scolding them with his gaze.

"Sorry." Brione mouthed.

Cain sighed inwardly before he turned back to Gavin. "Tell me what happened next, Gavin."

"After dinner, I bid goodbye to my father," he replied.

"That's all?" Cain muttered under his breath, a frown forming in between his brows. That couldn't be. Was this the memory that Damiel wanted to hide from Gavin?

"I came back," Gavin continued.

Cain's eyes glistened when he heard the other man continue. "You came back? Why?"

"I left something in the house."

Something must have happened when he came back. Both Brione and Kimmy thought.

"I…" Gavin paused. "I saw him…"

"Saw who?"

"Father…" he replied. A knit appeared in the space between his brows. He… he was talking with someone on his phone…"

"Who was he talking to?" Cain urged once again.

"He… He…" Cold sweat trickled down his temples as Gavin's frown became deeper.. He clenched his fists hard to the point where his knuckles became white.
