After a few minutes, Kevin arrived to fetch her. Before she left the room, Berry didn't stop teasing her.

"Hey, don't forget to update me! Tell me if he makes a move on you or kisses you on your first date! Haha. I will commend him for sure."

?

"Stop that Berry! I have to go now. Thanks for your help! See you tomorrow."

Mitch was about to leave when Berry grabbed her hand, thus stopping her for a moment.

With an annoyed expression on her face, Mitch faced her with glaring eyes.

"What? Did you hear the doorbell? Kevin is here. I have to go!"

"Hey, hey! Listen to me for one last piece of advice! Mitch, you are not getting younger anymore. Your age is no longer on the calendar. Oops!" Berry paused for a moment, giving her a peace sign before continuing her words.

"Are you making fun of my age?" Mitch's face darkened in annoyance. Why did she have to point that out?

Berry smiled sheepishly and elaborated on her words. "Hehe. I mean you shouldn't act like a conservative woman who is playing hard to get. You should be bolder and a little bit aggressive since in the first place you also like Kevin! So just grab this opportunity and don't ever let him go!"

Mitch: "..."

Mitch didn't say another word as she rushed out of her room. Berry had the point and she couldn't refute that. She had no more time to have a debate with her nosy friend since Kevin was already standing outside her door.

She took a deep breath before opening the door for him. A bouquet of flowers and Kevin's charming smile greeted her sight.

Mitch paused for a moment, just watching the guy in front of her. Her heart started racing rapidly inside her chest.

'Gosh, why does he have to look so cool in my eyes that my heart can't stop fluttering at the mere sight of him?'

"Hi!" Kevin greeted her suavely, before handing over the flowers to her.

Mitch accepted the bouquet and thanked him with a shy smile on her face. Kevin took his time as his eyes lingered on Mitch. She was so stunning today that he couldn't stop himself from admiring her.

Mitch looked away first as she couldn't stand his intense gaze. She even tried to raise the bouquet of flowers to slightly hide her face from his view.

Kevin chuckled seeing her adorable reaction. Without further ado, he extended his right hand and asked her, "Shall we go?"

Mitch bit her lower lip before nodding her head. Then she placed her hand over his palm. Soon, Kevin guided her to his car, opening the door for her.

Berry, who was standing at the front door, couldn't help but smile broadly as she watched her friend. 'Good Luck Mitch! You can do this!'

Kevin brought her to a fancy restaurant for their lunch date. They talked during their meals, getting to know each other.

Kevin was fun and easy to talk to. He was able to make her comfortable during their conversations. Mitch's uneasiness and nervousness disappeared because of that.

They also went to a Movie Theater to watch a movie. Mitch noticed that Kevin was a true gentleman, unlike Berry's wild imagination that he would make a move on her.

She had a lot of fun with him. Everything went smoothly for their first date.

After watching a movie, Kevin consulted Mitch where she wanted to go next. They still had enough time before dinner.

"Mitch, where do you want to go next?" Kevin asked her with a smile.

"Hmm, A park? I want to stroll around the park at this hour. Is that okay with you?"

Kevin just bobbed his head. Of course, he was okay with that as long as he was with her.

Soon, Kevin drove her to the nearest park. The park was near the lake. It has a good view of the sunset. The two of them started walking and strolling around.

Kevin was thinking about whether to grab her hand or not as they continued walking. He kept looking at their hands. He was about to hold her when Mitch suddenly halted on her step. Kevin automatically stopped walking as well.

Mitch couldn't stop herself from thinking whether she did a good job of entertaining him or not. Because between them, Kevin was the one who did all the talking.

"Kevin…"

"Hmm, yes?"

"I am wondering…" Mitch couldn't put her mind to say it out loud. She wanted to ask him but she was too shy.

"Mitch, do you want to ask me something? It's alright. You can tell me."

Kevin urged her to speak up as he held her shoulders. He looked at her, giving her a reassuring smile.

Mitch lowered her gaze as she continued to speak.

"Thank you for today. I really had fun. But I am wondering if you feel the same way. I hope I didn't bore you that much. Did you not regret asking me out?"

Kevin was taken aback when he heard that. After a few seconds, a gentle smile appeared on his face. He lifted her chin so that Mitch could meet his eyes.

"Why are you thinking like that? You don't know how much fun I had today because of you. I didn't regret anything. Thank you so much Mitch for agreeing to go out on a date with me. You made my day special," Kevin said with utmost sincerity in his words.

Kevin looked straight into her eyes. He could still see the worries in her eyes. He wanted to wipe those worries away from her.

Without much thinking, Kevin cupped her face, caressing her cheeks using his thumbs. He bent down and planted a soft kiss on her forehead. He didn't know what had gotten into him. He just felt the need to do it.

Meanwhile, Mitch stood frozen in her spot with her unblinking eyes. She didn't see it coming at all. Her mind went blank as soon as Kevin's lips touched her forehead.

'Gosh… what had just happened?'
