Chapter 57 Because You're Important to Me

Every afternoon, Andrew Hill would spend the time of a class to teach the principal martial arts.

At this moment, someone knocked the door.

He opened the door and saw that it was Arthur Longman.

"Arthur, why are you here?" asked the principal.

Andrew took the opportunity to pour himself a glass of water.

Mr. Longman said, "Principal, I have something to discuss with you."

"Come in."

Mr. Longman entered the office and said, "Sir, I hope you can transfer a student back to his original class. His name is Kevin Duke."

"You should go to the teaching director." Said the principal.

"Sir, the director would not agree with it. I heard that he wants to learn martial arts from Kevin Duke, so he listens to Duke.

The principal laughed and said, "Mr. Harper... I've also heard that he really wants to learn martial arts." Seeing that the principal start to practice martial arts, Mr. Harper also felt like doing it. However, as he was just a teaching director, nobody was willing to teach him. The principal was proud that he could get a mentor easily.

Andrew said, "Mr. Harper also came to me before and begged me to teach him. But I refused."

The principal nodded and said, "After your refusal, he turned to the top 20 students, but they all refuse him. At last, he could only ask for Davis Cook. But no matter what gift he offered. Cook would not accept his request. Now he found another student. I've never heard of Kevin Duke. I guess he is common. Why did Mr. Harper allow an ordinary student to be his teacher. After all, he is a teaching director."

The principal chuckled. Mr. Harper was refused again and again, while he had the master ranking sixth at school as his mentor. He was very pleased with himself. It was true that a principal always got more respect than a teaching director did.

Mr. Longman said anxiously, "Sir, please find a way to transfer that Duke back. He is now recognized by the students as the sixth school bully."

The principal frowned, "The sixth school bully? It seems that KevinDuke does have some skills. Andrew, do you know anything about him?"

Andrew answered calmly, "I met him when I went to the interview organized by Edward Kent. He also wanted to be Sally's bodyguard, but he might be the weakest one among the candidates. And he has terrible manner."

"No wonder he became a school bully. Andrew, how many moves do you think Kevin can take from you?" asked the principal.

Andrew pondered for a moment and said, "I maybe able to defeat him within three moves."

Mr. Longman said, "Sir, Kevin is a crap. How can he compete with Andrew? Andrew is a genius who ranks tenth at school and teaches you martial arts. Only a person like the teaching director asks Duke to be his mentor."

Although Mr. Longman looked down upon the teaching director, the principal was quite pleased to hear that.

"Sir, I don't like Kevin Duke. I heard that he took advantage of Sally. I'm looking for a chance to teach him a lesson. Why don't we ask him to come over here?" Said Andrew.

The principal smiled and said, "Duke is already a school bully. He might not agree to transfer back to his original class. Orders do not work to a bully. We'd better try a simple way. Andrew, your advice is good. I'll ask Mr. Harper to bring Duke here. He would definitely go back after he learns his lesson."

"Yes." Andrew nodded.

Arthur Longman was delighted that he could finally get rid of a bully.

The principal immediately phoned the teaching director.

Mr. Harper was in his office, thinking about how to please Kevin and let him agree to teach martial arts. At this moment, the phone rang. He knew that it was the principal.

He muttered to himself, "The principal always made fun of me secretly and bragged about his mentor. I don't want to answer his call. He would definitely sneer me."

Although the teaching director was reluctant to answer it, the principal was his leader. He picked up the phone.

"Sir-"

The principal laughed and said, "Mr. Harper, are you free now?"

"Sir, what's the matter?"

"Ha—ha. Nothing special. I just heard that Cook refused to be your martial arts mentor."

The teaching director snorted in his heart. Here came the sarcasm again.

"Ha—ha. Yes." Mr. Harper didn't want to argue. He had indeed failed. Even Davis Cook was reluctant to teach him. How could he compare with the principal? He had top—ranking master as his mentor.

"Mr. Harper, I also I heard that you are asking a student named Kevin Duke to teach you martial arts?"

"Sir, it seems that you keep up with everything." The teaching director snorted in his heart.

"That's why I call you. Kevin Duke has been recognized as the sixth school bully. How could you ask a bully to be your mentor?"

"Um..." The teaching director was stunned. He didn't know what to say. He had been worried about it. It would affect his reputation as the teaching director. However, how did the principal know?

The principal said, "Director Harper, Mr. Longman has already complained to me. Now hurry up and bring Kevin Duke to my office."

"Oh... OK."

After hanging up the phone, the principal smiled and said, "Andrew, get ready. Director Harper will bring Duke here right now."

"Yes." Andrew nodded. He took out his phone from his pocket and sent a message, "Sally, I heard that Duke took advantage of you. Come to the principal's office now. I'll show you how he gets his lesson. Don't ask me why I do this... I do so because you are... very important to me."

Sally Kent was having a boring lesson when her phone rang. She checked it and got delighted. She thought, "Wow, there's a good show. I should not miss it. Duke is getting his lesson. Ben would not beat him up for me, but I still have Andrew Hill my loyal fan. Great!"

She squatted down and sneaked out of the classroom. Ben didn't that. He was writing a note to his deskmate, about his plan to become a school bully.
