Among them was the revelation that the Abyss is not static; it continuously traverses the infinite expanse of darkness, searching for other realms such as Chaos. Upon discovering such a realm, Abyssals would launch invasions, leaving destruction in their wake. Once all life within the realm is eradicated, the rules governing that realm weaken. It is then that the Abyss Emperor devours the Source of that Realm, thereby bolstering its own power.
Abyss Emperor is the ruler of Abyss and emperor of all Abyssals. He is above everyone, no one is above him. His strength is immeasurable. It is said that even a group of Level 36 Masters of Abyss, who wanted to kill Abyss Emperor and replace him, were instantly killed by Abyss Emperor.
Just like Chaos, the limit of Abyss is also Level 36 Master of Abyss. However, all Abyssals believe that the Abyss Emperor's strength had long surpassed Level 36 Master of Abyss. He does not cultivate and absorb the Abyssal Energy to grow stronger. Instead, he devours the source of realms such as Chaos to evolve and become stronger.
By now, Abyss Emperor had already devoured eight such realms. This Chaos was the tenth realm that was discovered by Abyssals eons ago.
Abyss Emperor believes that as long as he devours the Source of this Realm, he will evolve one step ahead and break into an entirely new realm.

Chaos already had 108 Layers of Cosmic Membrane for defense from any invasion from alien forces. However, following the Abyssal invasion, Chaos erected an additional layer of protection alongside the existing 108 Layers of Cosmic Membrane.
This additional safeguard was known as the 36 Layers of Celestial Boundary.
Situated at the outermost edge of Chaos, the 36 Layers of Celestial Boundary was located right before the 108 Layers of Cosmic Membrane.
The 36 Layers of Celestial Boundary is also the domain where the Tree of Chaos resides.
Due to the 108 Layers of Cosmic Membran plus 36 Layers of Celestial Boundary, coupled with the strength of 108 Rules of Chaos and help from the Tree of Chaos itself, it became impossible for Abyss Emperor to invade the Chaos in a short time again.
Fortunately, hundreds of thousands of Abyssals still survived and seized a Land from creatures of Chaos. They hid in that Land and started to plan for another invasion for eons to come.
Every Abyssal has an innate connection with the Abyss. Abyss Emperor became aware of the leftover existence of Abyssals in Chaos because of this connection. Through this connection, they could exchange short messages.
They planned for eons and finally invaded the Chaos once again.
Their first invasion had already been forgotten by every creature of Chaos. It is because 99% of those who fought the war died in that battle. And the rest of the 1% warriors never talked about that period ever again. They were afraid, that fear was marked in the depth of their hearts.
On top of that, Chaos took one step further, erasing all evidence of that era itself.
Precisely because of all these things, that era was forgotten and later known as the Forgotten Era.
Abyss Emperor had waited to invade the Chaos personally for eons. He will never let go of this opportunity.
After eons of surviving, the population of Abyssals had increased tremendously. Moreover, they are beings who could devour each other to gain strength. This was not a one-time thing but a cycle that had been continued for several eras. This resulted in the birth of unknown numbers of Masers of Abyss inside Chaos.
Now, following the order of Abyss Emperor, they once again invaded hundreds of Lands all at once and started a massacre throughout those Lands.
However, killing people is not their main focus. Their main focus is destroying the very fabric of space and time, creating spatial and temporal turbulence, and disturbing the Rules of Chaos.
If hundreds of such turbulences were to manifest simultaneously, the Rules of Chaos would weaken, rendering the Rules governing both the 36 Layers of Celestial Boundary and the 108 Layers of Cosmic Membrane vulnerable. Such vulnerability would present an opportunity for Abyssals from Abyss to launch another invasion into Chaos.
Ling Xiaolong was truly shocked after he came to know Abyssal's plans.
What shocked him the most was the strength of the Abyss Emperor.
Furthermore, Abyss Emperor had actually already devoured sources of eight Fields such as Chaos. It was beyond shocking.
Ling Xiaolong breathed deeply and looked at the army of Abyssals.
There were already hundreds of thousands of Masters of Chaos in front of him, but this was not even 10% of Abyssal's true population. There were far too many of them. Counting them is simply impossible.
"No matter what, I have to kill them all before finding a way to return to the Chaos!" Ling Xiaolong muttered and a cold expression appeared on his face. He was ready to kill as many as possible.

Ling Xiaolong believed that it would not be long before he would have a... no, two legendary Ethereal Guardian-ranked weapons in his hands.
"It is truly a pity that I don't have Infinity Edge Blade right now." Ling Xiaolong muttered in regret. But then, a light flashed in his golden pupil. He muttered, "But it doesn't matter. I have Chaos Essence Flame. This flame also likes to devour Abyssals and Abyssal Energy just like Infinity Edge Blade."
Ling Xiaolong's figure was completely wrapped in thousands of bolts of lightning. He jumped into the sky, his figure seemed to be the incarnation of the God of Lightning. The spear in his hand also flashed with countless lightning bolts.

After destroying a huge region and turning millions of miles of Land into a sea of flame, Ling Xiaolong disappeared. He teleported to the other side of the Flame Sea where Chaos Essence Flame was not burning.
Just like that, he once again started the massacre.
