Ling Xiaolong was the source of this pure energy. He was being overflowed, so much that his body had no place to store energy. In the end, this pure energy started escaping from his body through his pores.
However, Ling Xiaolong did not have the luxury called time to care about the escaping pure energy. He had to first take some action in order to calm this overflowing energy.
