Chapter 23.1 - Roundtable Meeting (1)

There was a large roofed rest area near the lake’s log house.
Inside, stood a large round table and Charlotte raised her voice before the ‘Knights’
“I’m very grateful that you’ve gathered here amidst your busy schedules. I’m really sorry.”

“It’s the round table conference. I won’t let anyone complain since it means that the situation is serious. I’ve to stop cleaning myself but if she complains later then I can’t help but let her fool around Charlotte.”
“Right, that’s a problem. Father was indulgent with me but he was afraid of me when I came at the point needed. I’ve been making excuses like ‘Frey forced me to do something’”
“Why are you using me!”
“It’s because the round table conference is a secret meeting. One cannot just blurt it out.”

Next was the Blue Dragon Lisa that gaze vacantly at the conversation between the two.
“Haha, you two were in good terms but Charlotte-sama, let’s recall the round table rules article 7 ‘Don’t talk’ I think it’s time to focus at the subject at hand”
There’s a soft skeleton clattering.
His name was Johnny. Haruto put him in.
He’s the commander of the Night Skeleton Army, that’s one of the summoned creatures that were supposedly ruin Charlotte.
When the summon disappeared, they become dusty and unable to maintain their existence but they could still serve Haruto. Due to the influence of a pile in which Haruto plunged the magical forces.
They were unable to speak since they had no vocal cords and didn’t breathe but they could create a world in which Haruto could hear their voices thus enabling him to communicate.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Are you all ready?”
Charlotte looked around the table and popped out o the restroom.
A huge stone sat on the gym.
His name was Gigan. It’s another Giant Golem that Haruto arbitrarily named. He’s been made to be able to speak, but he hardly ever speaks thus silent.
Charlotte coughed.
“My brother will be leaving the Royal Capital next week. He’ll go to the Magic School in the Royal Capital.”
“What?! This is the first time I’m hearing this news!”
“I just heard it too, today. I think the timing was right. For instance, letting the poor wagon be unnerved and throw himself into a trap.”
“We’re the same since it wasn’t worth it” Frey catching her head.
