Book 4: Chapter 63:1: Romance Fortuneteller, Specializing in Breakups, Part 1
Now, Chen Heng had four abilities: attraction, gravity, electromagnetism, and spatial control. Attraction was his primary ability, and gravity and spatial control were derived from it.
Chen Heng played with his spatial ability for a while. After testing various aspects of this derived ability, he prepared to return to Lungmen.
The attraction ability’s offensive strength was slightly weaker than the spatial ability, but it had greater utility.
After spatial jumping back to Lungmen, he noticed the city showed signs of a state of emergency. Perhaps it was because of the commotion he caused earlier.
Chen Heng had not anticipated the consequences would be so severe, no matter how big the commotion was; hence, he had not gone too far from Lungmen to save the trouble of traveling back. In the end, the entire city went on alert when Chen Heng evolved his abilities.
However, it was fine. The scene suspected of being a Catastrophe quickly scattered soon after. The tornado that appeared because of that scene vanished for some reason, and the thundercloud scattered. Lungmen’s state of emergency was soon lifted.
While it was called a state of emergency, it was just for Lungmen’s law enforcement. The ordinary citizens did not feel much about this, as Chen Heng had dismissed the phenomena from his ability awakening.
After asking around, Chen Heng found a food street near the Cloud Sea Hotel, then used his Absolute Precognition to pick food.
The commotion Chen Heng caused earlier had not affected the food street much. The food street was still bustling.
“The squid balls won’t do. Nightingale and Skadi won’t like them. There’s barbeque and beggar’s chicken, but just one will do. Steamed dumplings? Never mind that. Stinky tofu? Lungmen has this thing? Unfortunately, the two won’t like eating it.”
