The pungent smell of hospital disinfectant invaded my nostrils. The atmosphere of the infirmary was that of panic, doctors were rushing for the required equipment, and shouts of assertion were being heard from everywhere.
It's been four hours, but Ruby was still undergoing surgery, many teachers came by and were still on patrol, they even told me to leave and continue classes, but I refused stating am her designated guardian.
For the past four hours, I have been supplying a tremendous amount of life force to Ruby through the black veins that spread underneath my feat connecting her. I did not remove her curse because it was more of a blessing right now than a curse. It's been using my life force to speed up her recovery, hence she is definitely out of danger.

With the sound of the door latch opening an Asian doctor in charge of surgery exited the room and approached me as I stood up.
"How's her condition doctor?", I asked.
"Well, it's surprising that her body is keeping up with everything she endured, her body is recovering at a rapid rate...considering her recovery rate she'll be fine and may able to move, but....", he paused.
"Is there a specific problem?", I asked.
"Yes, it seems someone was deliberately aiming for her head but couldn't reach it, a large amount of corrupted energy destroyed the anatomy of her eyes, and still lingering inside there....am afraid she won't be able to see again.", he said and added, "Sorry, wish I could help further.".
"It's ok doctor, rather am grateful to you for saving her life.", I replied. What can I say, I can remove the corrupted energy from her but I can't regenerate her eyes. The curse won't work here because it speeds up recovery not regenerate a body part.
"When will she wake up?", I asked.
"About a day or two.", he replied. Pressing his lips together and showing a sympathetic look, the doc walked away through the corridor.
Upon the completion of the surgery, the nurses lifted the unconscious Ruby onto the litter and positioned her. The safety straps were fastened, and she was then transported to the recovery room.
After a short while, I entered the recovery room, where a nurse just finished injecting an abiotic in her. As she was a Korean nurse, she bowed as a form of greeting upon seeing me enter and stayed there to monitor her condition.
"If it's not a problem, can I have a personal space?", I asked her to leave politely.
"Yes, but if you feel anything abnormal about her, inform me, as I'll be just outside.", She stated and left as I replied with, "Sure".
I looked at Ruby laying on the bed, supported by a ventilator and walked beside her bed. I stretched out my hand and touched her forehead with my palm and started sucking all the dark matter lunged inside her body. They really wanted her to die a painful death as I was sucking an enormous amount of corrupted energy from her.

According to him, that fear could become true when he looked at his daughter getting close to me, a mysterious figure and ranked one at the entrance. It would be fun to torment him, taking everything he owns one by one, the feeling of despair, and agony that he will suffer from now; it would be fun.
