Gone.

Boss Chu left them in a flash. But what to do now?

The group introduced themselves first, getting familiar with one another. They had briefly met each other just before logging in. But now that Boss Chu had left, they felt a heavy pressure load off their shoulders.

It wasn't that boss chu was scary, but that they always saw him like an elder, despite the fact he was far younger than they.

Moreover, they haven't spoken to boss Chu as frequently as people like Bho Jin, who took boss Chu as his buddy, or little Lulu, who saw him as her elder brother.

With him gone, they read the first pop-u messages that sprung up.

Eh?

“Guy’s It says we must see quest master Glenock to receive his first mission.”

“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go over there now!”

Like so, the gang scurried along but soon realized another interesting matter.

—-----------

[Greetings, You must be IceQueen (Guman’s game name). Anya speaks highly of you. Thanks for volunteering to help. If you've got your bearings, I have your first assignment.] Said the chubby but sturdy-looking Glenock.

Guman listened attentively, quickly realizing that in Tera, the introduction (1-11) must be done solo. But after that, players could group and form teams for combat.

Only after passing the solo beginnings would they be sent to a town. But luckily, everyone was already on each other’s 'friends list,' as well as under the party name Team_Alpha. So they were still communicating, though forced to act alone.

At first, the missions were simple, like finding different plants and roots scattered about the hilltop.

Piece of cake.

Guman’s smile was truer than the clear skies… That is until things suddenly got real.

What the hell?

Guman died severally in the hands of the many strange creatures around until finally, she finished the solo missions.

Huh. Huh…

She was panting heavily as she and everyone else who entered the realm would feel the same pain as their game bodies.

The gang met up at the ‘'Northern Checkpoint', they decided to report to NPC Centurion called Kishale and take up a new quest together.

As they say, teamwork made the dream team. So they had to understand their advantages, whether long range or short range in order to work as one like a well-fueled engine.

Like so, the gang suffered several losses, to the point of dying and getting rubbed of everything they managed to gather while their bodies respawned at a checkpoint region. plain as they might, what else could they do about it?

They quickly realized that when they die from being killed by another player, all their armor and money will be taken by that player.

Also, if a player dies from a quest or mission, they would resurrect in the nearest town with low health, no mana, and no stamina.

Sigh…

Forget it. There was no use crying over spilled water. It was gone, and that was that. But at least they now had time to quickly take on a few new missions and armor up before raiding the dungeon with Boss Chu.

Guman smiled bitterly, seeing as the left side of her shoe was missing. The thief was probably about to take her last pair before she vanished.

Asshole.

(:*^*:)

.

Time flew by fast, with the gang having a deeper understanding of this realm called Tera. And soon, they met with Boss Chu at the meet-up place… It was just that their appearance caused the barrage to roll on their bellies.

“Hahahahahaha~ Bro, where are your pants?... Did you wear armor over your underwear?”

“Pff!--... Upstairs, you clearly don’t know anything. One sleeve-missing, pants looking like they've been chewed by a dog ....”

“Hahahaha~ My belly… I’m laughing so hard that my belly is about to explode. Just how are they supposed to fight like this?”

“Sigh… I recall my starting days when I too appeared like this.”

“Same.”

“Same.”

“Upstairs, you took the words right out my mouth.”
