Everyone had some hidden understanding of how powerful it was.
And as the movie continued, they began to understand what this Avenger world was about.

The chopper finally landed, as countless evacuation warnings echoed out.
One could see people in lab coats and all sorts of vehicles leaving the scene.
But for some reason, a particular set of people in black also stayed behind, waiting for the chopper to land.
And instantly, they saw a tall, dark man in an all-black attire and an eye patch step out.
The strength energy from him was also strong as well... especially when they looked at his eye patch.
Goodness! What sort of eye could be hidden underneath there that was emitting such powers? Could it be a heavenly eye? Or was the eye some relic or hidden weapon of mass destruction like cyclop's eyes?
Everyone was staring at the man deeply as if wanting to rip off that eye patch and place a magnifying glass over his eyes just to see what he was hiding.
Of course, the man they were looking at was none other than Nick Fury. In the Marvel universe, he was a genius strategist, good at all special combat and military skills.
But what many didn't know was that within the comics, he had superhuman strength, agility, and speed… maybe because of the eye thing. And this hadn't even gone deep into the secrets surrounding his eyes.
Well, they would just have to find out if they wanted to know more.
Nonetheless, just looking at his cool and relaxed demeanor, they didn't know why, but the audience already liked him very much. The only problem was that they didn't know the man's name yet.

Nick Fury's legs touched the ground with a loud thud as he calmly stepped out of the vehicle and walked towards another man in a black suit with dark shades.
[How Bad is it?]
[That's the problem, sir... We don't know.]
What? You don't know?
Instantly, everyone's body was vibrating with worry and fear. What the hell did that guy mean by saying that he didn't know?
The more they listened to the conversation, the more they were frightened and terrified for the mortal world.
The music and the tense sense made the entire audience fall into a frenzy.
"F***! What do they do now? That guy said that some Dr. Selvig had read an energy surge from the Tesseract four hours ago that was crazy. So isn't this dangerous?"
"Dammit! I knew these government people must be the ones holding the Tesseract. Tsk. If I were them, I should've found a way to send that hot potato to another realm a long time ago. Now, look at how much danger they were outgoing the entire mortal realm through?"
"Too scary! They just said that the Tesseract just activated itself on its own. And now, they can't even shut it down. So what is going to happen to the mortal realm?"
At the portal space, a man with dark raven hair and a green get-up suddenly raised his face and revealed the most gruesome smile ever.
Wait! In the beginning, those strange voices said they had an ally that understood the workings of the Tesseract and could manipulate it too.
The voice at the beginning specifically said that their ally was ready to lead, and the world would soon be theirs.
And now, the audience finally found the first piece to the puzzle.
This guy was the ally!
This terrifying man, who seemed to have the raw power of an immortal, was the enemy.
And without a doubt, he was definitely the one who activated the Tesseract.
Who was he? Who was this strange man holding that strange staff in his hands?
But more importantly, how can the enemy be this good-looking?
