Chapter 356: Harvest the Dragon Tendons, Refining the Dragon Corpse!

"I heard Wraith Eye's demon magic becomes tenfold stronger in the sea!"

"Even the Sea Dragon Emperor and the Siren Empress might not be his match!"

Witnessing this spectacle, the assailants circling Yun Xiao couldn't help but hold him in awe. Just moments ago, Yun Xiao was ensnared by the bewitching gaze of the Thousand Blossom Sea Eye, falling prey to Ao Yuan's cunning strike.

But as Wraith Eye summoned its demon magic once more, pouring its entire sacred power into the magic, its power surged. Like a thousand spears, its spiked tendrils lashed out, aiming to pierce Yun Xiao through and through.

"Ao Yuan!" Wraith Eye's sinister voice thundered, a clear signal to the sea dragon to unleash her might, to hold nothing back. This was their moment, their chance to strike.

Understanding the call, everyone bombarded Yun Xiao with a maelstrom of daoist spells, magic treasures, and demon magic.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Death loomed large as Ao Yuan unleashed a torrent of blue flames, not towards Yun Xiao but wrapping around her own fangs and claws. Wherever the flames touched, frost spread like a wintry plague, attempting to ensnare him in its icy grip.

This was the moment of truth, the culmination of hopes for all the Inscription Cultivators and the demonic sea creatures. Every eye was wide, every breath held in suspense.

"Do you truly despise me so?" Yun Xiao's visage hardened, his resolve turning as cold as the deepest winter.

Yes, Wraith Eye's demon magic had him in its grasp, its dazzling lights attempting to ensnare him. But Yun Xiao's gaze, piercing and unwavering, was locked in a cold, deadly focus.

"You might have many eyes, but you're blind," Yun Xiao taunted, "or you wouldn't dare challenge me."

He had no time for these petty squabbles, not when there were greater battles to fight. But if they insisted on standing in his way...

With a silent incantation, Yun Xiao's hand moved, and the Heaven Burial Sword Soul transformed into a Flying Sword, darting forward with lethal precision.

The technique was known as the Azure Sky Bloom, a dance of light and speed, where the sword, swift and true, cut through the air like a ray of hope piercing the gloom.

However, Yun Xiao's Flying Sword wasn't just performing the Azure Sky Bloom!

In a blink, the sword transformed, mimicking the Taiji flying fish and then morphing into Rootless Grass, zipping through the air and striking Wraith Eye with the speed of lightning.

With a single thrust, the sword pierced through Wraith Eye's form, leaving a gaping wound three feet wide.

Wraith Eye, in shock and agony, let out a trembling cry, its fear palpable as it locked eyes with Yun Xiao's cold, violet gaze. At that moment, it realized it was a mere amateur in ocular arts compared to him.

Fear engulfed Wraith Eye, its bravado melting away.

"I, the ruler of the seas, wish to lead the Undead Depths..." it began to plead.

But Yun Xiao, with a flick of his finger, summoned the Flying Sword back.

The sword, now buzzing and spinning like a stone skipping across water, made a swift and merciless return, severing Wraith Eye's spiked tentacles, each adorned with an eye, and scattering them into a pool of blood.

"NOOO!" Wraith Eye cried as the azure sword pierced it repeatedly, its screams ending abruptly as its body burst apart.

Yun Xiao caught the Heaven Burial Sword Soul, which reverted to a three-foot-long blade, while his Prison Warden Sigil returned to the form of a Runic Umbrella, covered in inscriptions.

As Ao Yuan's claw, imbued with the cold flames, tore through the air, Yun Xiao blocked with the Runic Umbrella and counterattacked with the Palm Sword.

A Nirvana Flower blossomed from his sword, entwining the Heaven Burial Sword Soul and doubling its deadly power.

With a sound like the snapping of bones, the sea dragon's scales and skeleton, tough as any treasure, stood no match for the Heaven Burial Sword Soul's might, which could even cleave through the Calamity Seal Sword.

Yun Xiao's strike sent Ao Yuan's claw flying, a shower of blood in its wake.

With the agility of a shadow, he slipped beneath the sea dragon, evading a barrage of magical attacks that, ironically, wounded Ao Yuan further.

The sea dragon writhed in agony, her majestic visage twisted with pain.

Before Ao Yuan could gather her wits, Yun Xiao transformed his Runic Umbrella into a Dao Dragon, unleashing Blazing Dragon Blood Boil upon her. The curse-like blood art clung to her veins, igniting them in an inferno.

"Please Please spare us" Enveloped in flames, Ao Yuan's flesh charred, her body convulsing as she curled up, attempting a plea for mercy that was cut short by Yun Xiao's merciless strike, plucking a dragon tendon from her neck.

Deprived of her strength, Ao Yuan collapsed, her life hanging by a thread under the relentless assault of the Blazing Dragon Blood Boil technique.

"Your Seed of Creation talent is pretty rare. It's a type that enhances the tendons," Yun Xiao remarked, his comment left unheard by Ao Yuan, who lay dying, her gaze dimming with despair and fear until she breathed her last.

With the fall of Wraith Eye and Ao Yuan, the sea demons lost their leaders, their morale shattered, their ranks in disarray. Their pleas for mercy, ignored by Yun Xiao, were a clear message to all; he was not to be trifled with.

The sea demons, once eager to attack, now trembled in fear. Yun Xiao's might had broken their spirit, earning their fear and submission.

As their hearts shattered under the weight of fear, the demonic horde cast their terrified gazes upon the young man in white, and one by one, they found themselves kneeling before him.

"Too late," Yun Xiao declared, his voice cold as he glanced over them.

Before their very eyes, he transformed the corpses of Ao Yuan and Wraith Eye into two Blood Crystal Sword Rings, seizing the powerful demon magics of the Sea Heart Flame and Thousand Blossom Sea Eye for himself, the latter proving to be particularly useful.

With a crisp snap, Yun Xiao fitted the new Sword Rings onto his Heaven Burial Sword Soul, announcing, "Nine Sword Rings!"

His words, heavy with an endless terror, swept through the Immortal Asylum, silencing the previously enraged spectating Inscription Cultivators and demons, who suddenly found themselves voiceless.

Ao Yuan, Wraith Eye, the Sun Princess, and those who had perished before them had sought Yun Xiao's demise, only to meet their own fates in a more tragic end.

"With these two sea demons gone, there's no one left within the formation capable of killing Yun Xiao," the onlookers murmured among themselves, aghast at the realization that even the numerical advantage held by the Talisman Emperor and Wick Devil seemed to have evaporated.

Yun Xiao, the Sword Warden, the Netherworld Emperor, the Siren Empress, the War Princess, Moon Fairy, and other powerhouses were decimating their foes, completely overturning the enemy's advantage.

The battlefield within the Eight Trigrams formation was littered predominantly with the corpses of Inscription Cultivators, Yang Devils, resentment demons, and sea dragons.

"The balance has been utterly shattered!" Mu Daxiong exclaimed, his eyes blazing with fervor. Before the battle, his heart was heavy with worry, but now, he realized his concerns were unfounded.

"I thought we were to be slaughtered, but instead, we're the ones doing the slaughtering!" Du Zhongyuan laughed heartily, his sentiment resonating with the 1,000 Sword Cultivators gathered around, even drawing laughter from the gathered Yin Devils.

Only the land demons felt somewhat awkward, hesitant to approach the Sword Cultivators too closely. Yet, seeing the Phoenix Empress align with the right side, they breathed a sigh of relief from the depths of their souls.

"Could it be," they wondered, "that the Empress' baffling strategy was actually correct? After so many years, I never imagined we'd fight alongside Sword Cultivators... What a departure from the norm!"

"My parents were slain by Sword Cultivators, and I've sworn revenge. What am I to do now?" The question hung in the air, reflecting the complex emotions and shifting allegiances of the moment.

The demons exchanged bewildered looks, their minds a blank slate.

The climax of the battle had reached a suffocating intensity.

It was clear that the sea dragons and the resentment demons were ready to kneel, but Yun Xiao wouldn't have it.

While the Inscription Cultivators and the Yang Devils, still bolstered by their mightiest, were clinging on desperately.

"Where's Yun Xiao?" The onlookers from outside the battlefield suddenly realized Yun Xiao had vanished from sight.

Fortunately, he soon reappeared, but something about him seemed different.

"Why does he seem changed?" Mu Daxiong murmured, puzzled.

"Yes, there's a certain demonic aura about him now, and a hint of bloodthirstiness..." Du Zhongyuan added, equally baffled.

"But he seems stronger, terrifyingly so," Mu Daxiong couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement.

The battlefield was chaotic, with daoist spells and demon magic flying everywhere, obscured further by blood mist and illusions. No one could tell what had transpired with Yun Xiao during his brief disappearance.

Du Zhongyuan, with a keen eye, whispered to Mu Daxiong, "What's your sister doing with that cloth bag off to the side?"

"I have no idea..." Mu Daxiong was clueless.

Now, with Yun Xiao so conspicuously powerful, who would pay attention to Mu Dalong?

With a stomp, the young man in white commanded the attention of all, the entire Eight Trigrams formation trembling beneath his feet.

The sword light rippled through the arena, causing a shudder in the hearts of the powerhouses, all eyes drawn to him.

"Bring me the Talisman Emperor and the Wick Devil," Yun Xiao's icy gaze settled on the two greatest thorns on his side in the Nine Hells.

He was ready, no longer holding back.

Yun Xiao had no interest in a drawn-out battle with them.

Hearing his challenge, a wave of shock ran through the crowd.

"Yun Xiao is taking on the two mightiest in the Nine Hells, alone..."

The crowd was spellbound, their hearts racing.

The Inscription Cultivators and demons outside fell silent, not daring to utter a word.

"Understood," Pale Revenant responded without hesitation, halting her attacks on the Talisman Emperor and retreating behind Yun Xiao.

"Fine then!" The Phoenix Empress grimaced slightly, clearly displeased but not refusing. She kept a vigilant eye on the battlefield, deeply aware of Yun Xiao's explosive achievements under immense pressure, and felt a certain reverence.

This unexpected turn of events sparked a glimmer of hope in the Talisman Emperor and Wick Devil, who had been on the brink of despair. They boldly presented themselves before Yun Xiao.

The Talisman Emperor's eyes blazed with a vendetta as vast as the sea, pondering how to avenge his kin. The Wick Devil was fueled by a rage to scorch the heavens. He knew that the Yang Devils faced enslavement by the Yin Devils should they fall, leaving him with no choice but to stand firm. Even if the resentful demons had knelt, he could not.

Exchanging glances, the Talisman Emperor and Wick Devil's intent to kill was overwhelming, unable to believe the situation had escalated to this extent, yet reality had slapped them hard. Now, their only source of confidence was their standing as some of the mightiest in the Nine Hells...

Side by side, the two charged forward, their combined aura formidable.

"Should we stop and watch?" the Phoenix Empress asked, sensing something oddly familiar about him.

"Continue the onslaught, don't stop," Yun Xiao commanded coldly, facing the duo, "Spare none, leave no survivors."
