Chapter 256 - Young Master Yun Beichen!

In the Demon Continent, at the Forbidden Fate Volcano, something eerie was brewing deep within its shadowy belly. The vast, ghastly white fire that once roared like a tempestuous sea had mysteriously vanished into thin air.

The volcano, once a fiery titan, lay silent and cold, enveloped in darkness. Thick black smoke shrouded the hollows of this desolate place, resembling monstrous beasts from the abyss.

Yet, in the deepest caverns of this mountain, an enigmatic silver fireball lingered, slowly contracting. Within it, a terrifying fox shadow emerged, hinting at something otherworldly.

At a pivotal moment, the firelight abruptly dissipated, and the silver-white fox seemed to awaken from a deep slumber. It opened its icy silver eyes, piercing the cavern's darkness with two blazing beams, cutting through to the skies above.

With a humming sound, a new fox tail sprouted, aligning itself with the existing three, gently swaying. The tails, three feet long, slender yet sinister, flickered with white sparks, as lethal as any weapon.

Amidst a surge of light, the Four-Tailed Demon Fox twisted and morphed into a young man, unclothed and ethereal. His silver hair trailed on the ground, eyes cold and alluring, features delicately chiseled, lips thin, skin pale as snow. Despite being male, he was breathtakingly beautiful. His silver nails, canine teeth, and the four gently swaying tails only added to his exquisite allure.

With a casual flick of his hand, a piece of ancient armor flew to him, transforming into a long coat embroidered with petals, cloaking his sharpness.

"Divine Desolation Demon Heart," Moon Fairy whispered, closing his eyes. The experience of comprehending the power of the Heart felt more intense compared to the time with the War Princess.

The path of cultivation, whether it be of a demon, devil, or human, was all about the connection with heaven and earth, the foundation of the journey to the heavens.

"The power of the Demon Heart, driven by flesh and blood, resonates with the forces of nature, harnessing the power of desolation more effectively," Moon Fairy mused. "And as expected, the Will of Divine Desolation evolved the bloodline of this demon fox, giving birth to a fourth tail."

For a demon fox, each tail was like a sword. Four tails meant an additional blade!

"In the Nine Hells, there's a Primeval Demon Hell, not far from the Endless Netherworld. It harbors the Desolate Essence of the Nine Hells and over a million Seed of Creations..." Moon Fairy's enigmatic eyes gradually turned icy cold.

His main self, with his Creator Immortal physique, could restrain his primal urges to devour everything under the heavens. However, in this demon body double, these urges manifested in a cold and terrifying way.

"There's so much left to do here, so many people to protect. For the sake of those I care about, I cannot afford mistakes," Moon Fairy mused. With a flash, he transformed into the Four-Tailed Demon Fox, becoming an almost invisible streak of silver light.

"I've indeed become powerful after surpassing the Eight Mortal Realms and entering the Second Dao Tribulation!" Moon Fairy muttered in delight. He could feel every muscle fiber bristling with explosive power!

The Fox Clan was inherently graceful and cunning. However, with Yun Xiao holding the reins, he felt like a feral beast brimming with strength. Even his thoughts were turning simple and brutish. He raced across the desolate Demon Continent and plummeted down into the Divine Continent like a silver star!

Before long, he arrived in the Heavenly Realm! Looking around, in just a few days, order had been restored. Though not yet at pre-war levels, it was bustling again.

Moon Fairy, silent as a shadow, slipped into the Divine Dawn Palace.

At present, the Supreme Marshal Chen Xiao and Sword Saint Sun were swamped with work daily.

In the bright hall, Chen Xiao, having just finished some tasks, was about to take a brief rest. Suddenly, he jerked his head up in alarm, only to see a seemingly frail but terrifyingly powerful silver-haired youth standing before him.

"Moon Fairy!" he exclaimed.

The Supreme Marshal had just learned that this demon had become a Demon Emperor and the de facto ruler of the Demon Continent!

"I'm a friend of Yun Xiao," Moon Fairy said, his calm words easing the Supreme Marshal's tension.

"A friend?" The Supreme Marshal's mind raced, piecing together the puzzle. A demon fox, now ruler of the Demon Continent, friends with Yun Xiao? Were the strongest of the Divine and Demon Continents now allies?

"Mhm, he asked me to pass on a message," Moon Fairy said.

"Please, go ahead," the Supreme Marshal urged.

Moon Fairy briefly explained the situation regarding the Endless Netherworld and the Eternal Sword Prison, adding, "He's now in the Sword Ruins for cultivation, safe and sound, no need for worry."

"Oh..." The Supreme Marshal's eyes widened in amazement. "Damn, my son-in-law's progress is lightning-fast." Fresh from conquering the Sword Realm below, he had barely settled in the Heavenly Realm for a few days before overcoming this new challenge! Swift as a comet, he arrived and departed just as quickly!

Moon Fairy reassured, "He will continue to guard both the Divine and Demon Continents. All you need to do in the Heavenly Realm is stick to the original plan. Unite the human race of the Divine Continent and quietly regain your strength."

The Supreme Marshal, who had been feeling uncertain, found solace in these words. It seemed the crisis threatening humanity was now resolved. Though the course had veered from what the Divine Dawn Empress had anticipated, the outcome was favorable, and catastrophe was averted.

Had they followed the Divine Dawn Empress' plan, the Demon Continent would have been devastated, but the Divine Continent would have suffered greatly as well, resulting in widespread sorrow and her inevitable demise.

Yun Xiao could now give this young lady some peace. The rebirth of the Creator Immortal brought endless variables. Yet, it didn't stop Yun Xiao from playing the savior.

However, the idea of a Demon Emperor uniting humanity seemed absurd to the Supreme Marshal. Had he not known about Moon Fairy's collaboration with Yun Xiao, he would have doubted his credibility.

"Also, give me a list of the false demons from the other Immortal Empires in the Divine Continent. I'll clean them up, and you can quickly unify humanity," Moon Fairy said coldly.

"Here it is!" The Supreme Marshal immediately handed over a scroll.

"You were prepared?" Moon Fairy asked, surprised.

"I wish they'd drop dead sooner." The Supreme Marshal chuckled. The list included the names of various corrupt officials from the other four Immortal Empires. All of them needed to be dealt with!

"One more thing," Moon Fairy paused. "Send Su Lianlian to the Sword Realm below to establish a Sword Cultivation Academy in the Sea of Swords. Let a local woman named Ning Yan handle the details. Afterwards, promote the way of the Sword Cultivator and recruit talents to come to the Three Great Sword Tombs in the Heavenly Realm."

"No problem!" The Supreme Marshal nodded enthusiastically, but inside, his mind was reeling: A demon, encouraging the promotion of sword cultivation? He sneaked a peculiar glance at Moon Fairy, a terrifying thought crossing his mind.

"Damn it!"

Could his son-in-law be into both men and women? Why else would the Demon Emperor act this way? And to think, Moon Fairy was into both humans and demons as well?

"Damn, the young ones these days are really something else," the Supreme Marshal thought, his mind in turmoil, though he maintained a polite smile on his face.

"Here's a Thunder Crystal; it's discreet. If you're in danger, crush it in advance," Moon Fairy advised.

"Alright!" The Supreme Marshal pondered. "With you around, there should be peace and no more wars between the Divine and Demon Continents. So, the danger you're talking about, is it the devils from the Endless Netherworld?"

"No," Moon Fairy replied, gazing deeply at him. "It's the foreign Sword Cultivators."

"Ah?" The Supreme Marshal was utterly baffled.

"Just do as I say," Moon Fairy insisted. As soon as he finished speaking, his figure vanished abruptly.

The Supreme Marshal was left standing in the hall, utterly disheveled. "A demon protects me, devils don't invade, and I should be wary of Sword Cultivators... What kind of world is this?"

He looked out of the door, sighing softly.

"My daughter, it's only been a few days, but dad misses you. Ah, when will I see you again?" the Supreme Marshal muttered sadly. He had been calm when she left for a year before. But now, in this lifetime, would he ever see her again? He felt lost.

In the Demon Continent, near the entrance to the Eternal Sword Prison, the vortex flickered with another light.

HUM! A streak of sword light pierced through the void, descending gracefully. It was a young man in a starry sword robe, tall and lean, with a high nose bridge and a face like jade. His demeanor was sharp, clearly a dragon among swords.

"Supreme Disciple!" Despite being seniors, several Sword Judges gathered around him, nervously bowing before the young man.

"Where's the one surnamed Bai?" The young man's voice was cool, his bearing naturally that of a leader.

"I'm coming!" Old Bai approached from a distance, hurrying over. The venerable Peak Master, commanding ten thousands disciples in the Eternal Sword Prison and followed by countless admirers, found himself fawning in front of this young man.

"Beichen," Old Bai asked with a slight smile, "is there a new arrangement from the Sword Ruins?"

"Bai Changhong." Yun Beichen said, raising an eyebrow and clicking his tongue. "Your luck is truly pitiful."

"Eh?" Old Bai's heart skipped a beat, nervously blurting out, "Young Master Beichen, please don't frighten an old man like me. I've been loyally devoted to your grandfather, always diligent, never causing or seeking trouble..."

"It's not about you, but your grandson," Yun Beichen replied indifferently.

"Wuque?" Old Bai's eyes trembled, "Did Wuque fail to make the Eternal Sword resonate even once?"

"On the contrary, the Eternal Sword hummed six times, also making him a Supreme Disciple," Yun Beichen chuckled.

"A Supreme Disciple?" Old Bai and the other Sword Judges thought they had misheard. Wasn't this incredible news? For generations, the Bai Family hadn't produced a Supreme Disciple!

Yun Beichen then detailed the affairs of Ling Chen and Yun Xiao, the two Exiled Sword Immortals, to everyone.

THUD! Old Bai collapsed onto the ground, his face ashen. The other Sword Judges too, had red eyes, unable to believe their ears.

Old Bai had sent Ling Chen and Yun Xiao to the Swords Ruins with his daughter. Before they left, he could have slain them both with a single sword strike. And now, they had both become Exiled Sword Immortals?

Was there anything more preposterous in this world?

"Believe it or not, it has already happened. It's now the talk of the Nine Hells, and you stationed folks are the only ones out of the loop," Yun Beichen stated matter-of-factly.

Old Bai, usually a figure of composure, was visibly shaken by this news. Tears in his eyes, he knelt before Yun Beichen. "Could you please ask your grandfather to spare Wuque's life..." He was filled with regret. If only he had known, he would have eliminated those two youngsters when he had the chance!

"My grandfather is just an Overseer of the Sword Ruins. He's been assigned to protect Ling Chen. If an Exiled Sword Immortal decides to kill, nobody can stop them, understand?" Yun Beichen said coldly.

Old Bai felt like he had been struck by lightning.

"However, for now, relax. Wuque has been made a sword slave by Exile Ling, but his status as a Supreme Disciple remains. As for the Qin Family, except for Qin Luo, they've been wiped out," Yun Beichen continued.

"A sword slave, that's good! Being a sword slave isn't bad..." Old Bai's voice trembled. Hearing about the Qin family's fate, he felt a chill run down his spine.

"Fortunately, Exile Ling is on our side. Your Bai Family just needs to serve him loyally, and you might survive. That's the message my grandfather sent for you, got it?" Yun Beichen spoke gravely.

"On our side?" Old Bai took a deep breath, his expression turning odd. "It seems our ancestor still has great foresight, even outwitting the Sword Warden."

"And why else would they push Yun Xiao so forcefully?" Yun Beichen shrugged, sneering. "Unfortunately, those who climb ranks forcefully always show their true colors. The Immortal Sword Rankings will be the litmus test... Some are bound to become a laughing stock."

"Of course, the limit is nine resonances! How could there be someone who could make the Eternal Sword hum 100,000 times?" Old Bai had found his new direction, knowing whose boots to lick from now on.

"Just handle the affairs of the Demon Continent and try to make up for your past deeds in front of Exile Ling," Yun Beichen paused, then added sternly, "He's already stated that after the Immortal Sword Rankings, he'll come here to take over the Heavenly Land. How long your Bai Family survives depends on your performance in this period."
