Many employees took out their phones and quietly snapped a photo of the family of three to privately share this image to their circle of friends. The sound of the photos being taken was especially noticeable in the relatively quiet lobby.

“Why did the idea of bringing me a lunchbox cross your mind today? That doesn’t seem like something you would do of your own initiative. Did something happen?”
As the saying goes, one doesn’t visit a temple without an agenda. Lu Beichuan had a clear understanding of Ye Zhen’s character. She wouldn’t have made such an extravagant show that included bringing their son along just to bring him lunch. She must have an ulterior motive.
