Chapter 594: Unknown Food
After finally catching up with the class, we found our classmates resting in a wide area halfway up the mountain. A few classmates who had sub-optimal stamina were already gasping for breath.
Especially Gong CaiCai, Little Smart, Eunuch Cao, and Zhuang Ni.
Although Zhuang Ni’s sickness are her active skills, it doesn’t mean she has good stamina. We all knew in our first year that she was the fifth from the bottom for PE grades amongst the girls (assuming she even attended).

Zhuang Ni leaned against a tree and sat on the grass. She tilted her head to look at the water bottle in the class leader’s hand.
“It’s not a problem if you can still talk.” The class leader unscrewed the cap of the water bottle, then placed it by Zhuang Ni’s hand.
“Class leader, class leader, I’m dying too.” Eunuch Cao came up to join the fun, “Please feed me mouth to mouth…”
He ended up under Niu ShiLi’s feet before he finished his sentence.
The class leader was finally relieved everyone was together after she saw Xiao Qin, Xiong YaoYue, and me follow up, but then she looked depressed for some reason.
She didn’t ask us why we were held up, she just leaned against a tree in the shade and began eating a red bean bun.
She already digested the date cake she ate earlier, so I guess she needs more calories now.
It was rare to see the class leader eat snacks normally, since she had set times for her three meals.
I think that’s a disadvantage if you want to be a police officer. As far as I know, Constable Ma from the narcotics division always works around the clock and only eat when they get a chance. They don’t even know if they are eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

“Winnie, if you’re going to eat wild strawberries, at least wash it first.”
You can already hear the sound of running water from not far away, so there was a brook nearby.
“It’s no big deal.” Xiong YaoYue shared some of the wild strawberries with Loud Mouth, “A couple of germs won’t do any harm.”
Loud Mouth was a bit more careful. She used her bottled water to wash the wild strawberries before tasting it.

I was curious, so I took two of the washed berries from Loud Mouth and ate it. It really was sour.

“It is pretty sour.” Xiong YaoYue grumbled while continuously eating her unwashed wild strawberries.
“(*^__^*)Hehe… I like sour stuff, give me a couple.”
Thus the few of us gathered around the bush and began picking wild strawberries to eat. Since it had just rained in the morning, some of the berries still had water drops on them, so we gradually thought it was reasonable for Xiong YaoYue to eat them without washing it.
“Hey, the thorny ones over here are a bit sweeter.”
Xiong YaoYue, who was rapidly picking the berries, quickly made a new discovery.
“Where, where?” Loud Mouth, who was sitting down for a rest, stood up.
Xiao Qin silently picked some thorny wild strawberries and put them in my hand, “Ye Lin classmate likes sweet things, so eat these.”

It would be true from Gong CaiCai’s point of view.
She thinks I betrayed the class leader to be with Xiao Qin and Xiong YaoYue is helping us keep it a secret, so it’s like the three of us tricking the class leader.
But she didn’t have the bravery to tell the class leader, thus her inner turmoil.
“We should be continue soon.” Niu ShiLi said, “Even Gong CaiCai has recovered a bit, so we should continue on.”
Gong CaiCai looked as if she was sentenced the death penalty.
“I, I really can’t walk anymore… I’m sorry for holding everyone up, just leave me here.”
Although that’s what she said, her teary eyes showed she didn’t really want to be abandoned here.
The class leader stuck out a hand, “I’ll support you. You can definitely reach the top.”
Gong CaiCai clenched her teeth and forced her sore legs to support her body and reached out to take the class leader’s hand.
Xiong YaoYue unexpectedly took Gong CaiCai’s hand and pulled her into her embrace. Gong CaiCai’s startled face quickly collided with Xiong YaoYue’s elastic chest.
“I’ll carry Gong CaiCai the rest of the way.”
Xiong YaoYue held Gong CaiCai with one hand and pointed to herself with the thumb of her other hand.
“It would be too difficult even for you.” Starting from Loud Mouth, the students began to comment.

“Then what should we do. Are you going to leave Cai Cai here for the tigers?”

The only tiger in the whole damn city is at the zoo! You would on the news if you found a tiger here.
