Chapter 424 - Erick's Help
Eric was silent. He was speechless after hearing Anne talk at length for almost 10 minutes. Likewise with Alice. The girl hadn't even taken her eyes off the cell phone which showed various photos and articles of Alan Knight Clarke.
"I was as surprised as you two when I saw him for the first time. I really thought that he was Jack. But after I found out who this man was, I finally realized that he wasn't my Jack, he was someone else who had the exact same face as Jack," said Anne again in a barely audible voice.
"Does he have a twin brother?" said Alice suddenly.
Erick massaged his temples which suddenly hurt. "Mr. Jack is an only child, and so were his two parents. That's why the late old Master had appointed Johnny as an adopted son so that he could accompany his son to grow up, until he finally married and had Edmund whose age is also not much different from Mr. Jack's. So it's impossible, Alice, everyone knows the Muller family tree."

Anne wiped her tears slowly. She then grabbed Alice's cell phone and looked at the photo of Alan who was with other young entrepreneurs. "His grandfather Mr David Clarke saved me from Alan's private villa where he used to have fun with women. Mr David Clarke saved me from Alan who wanted to make me his sex slave like his other women, that's why he brought me home from the cursed villa and hid me in his big house for several days. Until finally Alan found me in the house and wanted to take me back to his villa, but Mr. David Clarke forbade him and asked him to be responsible for what he had done to me. Anne's heart felt like it was about to explode when she heard Erick's words. "Did I hear you right, Erick?"

Anne was silent hearing the debate between Erick and Alice, she digested the words that Erick previously said. It was indeed very risky if she went to London without an identity, coupled with her current status of being Clarke's mistress.

Alice took Anne's hand and held it tightly. "Calm down, Anne, I'm here. I'll take care of you, I won't let that man find you. I'll take you away from this place, even without the cowardly Erick's help."
Erick stroked his chest slowly. He had forgotten that Alice really adored Anne. "Believe me, Madam, I will definitely help you. All I have to do right now is to meet that man."
"Okay, Erick, I trust you. But don't go back on your word."

Anne nodded her head slowly. She then took a deep breath and prepared to get out of the car. Even though she didn't know what Erick's plans were, Anne believed in him. All she could do now was be a little patient. Anne stepped out of the car after Alice. The two then walked towards the tent followed by Erick behind.
"Anne!!"
Suddenly, there was a loud shout from a man whose voice Anne and Erick knew very well.
