Chapter 419 - Prepare Yourself
Since earlier, Alan was just stirring his coffee cup without actually drinking it. At the moment, Alan and Nicholas were sitting close together looking at Anne who was enjoying the food that Alan ordered directly.

Alan almost exploded when he found out that Anne had tried to contact someone without his permission, but when he found out why Anne was using the phone, Alan's anger finally disappeared.

Anne looked into Alan's eyes, who had been watching her since the first time they sat in the restaurant.
"I'm hungry, there's no one here anyway." Anne replied sarcastically to Alan's words.

Alan smiled broadly at Nicholas' words. He didn't expect Nicholas to speak like that. With a quick movement, Alan got up from his chair and just walked out of the restaurant. His destination was, of course, the elevator. He wanted to catch up with Anne. He really didn't want to be away from his woman at this time.
Nicholas went back to drinking alone. Serving people like Alan who was moody had cost him a lot of energy and time to pamper himself when things were safe like this.
Arriving in the room, Anne went straight to the balcony. She looked at the City of Tromso from the hotel where she was. She wished she could see Erick or Alice strolling around her hotel, although she was absolutely sure that what she had in mind would never happen.

Anne's face heated up hearing Alan's words. Her memory of what Alan did the last time to her made Anne's anger and hatred resurfaced.

"I'm your husband, Anne, I have rights over your body, don't forget that." Alan immediately interrupted the one word that Anne had said to him. "Moreover, after our marriage, you have not done your duty as a wife, to serve me in bed.
"Keep dreaming, Alan!! "Anne said with a hoarse voice. She was annoyed to be reminded of their current status so often.
"It's a fact, Anne. You are my legitimate and lawful wife, you should serve me sincerely without me having to force you like I did, which in the end hurt your body."
Alan chose to cut his words when discussing the wounds on Anne's body. He was still very curious as to why Anne had bruises so easily on her body.
