It had been a long time since I had a proper conversation with Big Brother Albert.

He was not the big brother he used to be, and our moods had changed, but we were still brother and sister.

I had only talked to Big Brother Henry for a while now, and he was the only one I had talked to.

I gripped my sword tightly and looked him straight in the eyes, “Big Brother.”

“I would like to fight with you.”

Big Brother Albert froze for a moment at my words, but then his face immediately broke into a smile.

“Yes, of course.”

We lost track of time and just crossed swords.

I was able to get a few strikes in on him, but he was stronger than I expected. I haven’t been hit yet, though.

…Big Brother Albert was this strong?

He was quite strong, considering that he was a man. I could not believe he was the one who gave up fighting when I was kidnapped a long time ago.

Back then, he said violence begets violence and wouldn’t even pull out his sword….

People grow…or rather change.

Oh, could it be because Liz-san’s magic was broken? …How strong was the charm magic?

I didn’t think the saint’s power was that much of a cheat.

Perhaps sensing that I wasn’t concentrating on the battle, my brother took advantage of that opportunity and attacked all at once.

In the nick of time, I managed to duck.

…I almost got hit by one of his attacks. Carelessness was the enemy.

The smallest carelessness could be fatal. I concentrated only on Big Brother Albert’s movements.

He must be frustrated. Because he was currently being beaten by his sister, who was five years younger than him.

The sound of swords clashing echoed in the air. I noticed that the sun had already started to rise.

I could feel sweat dripping from my forehead. My brother had been practicing long before I arrived. His physical strength was also monstrous.

I avoided his attack by sharply shifting my body away from him.

I wondered if he thought I could not avoid this attack, and his eyes widened. At that moment, I pressed my sword against his side.

“Another one. I win.”

We looked at each other, out of breath. I slowly pulled my sword away from him.

We both caught our breath, and Big Brother Albert laughed out loud and happily.

“Alicia, I didn’t know you were this strong.”

…Oh, that’s not the reaction I was expecting.

I had expected him to say, “You’ve grown stronger, Ali,” more sincerely.

I think I had never seen Big Brother Albert smile so broadly.

Big Brother Albert had always been worried about me. When I said I wanted to learn swordsmanship, he gave me a hard menu, but he still took good care of me….

He’s a good brother.

“Eh~~, you’re losing, Albert!”

Suddenly, a cute voice echoed in my ears.
