53 Roid Rage
"I have no idea." Replied Kaden as he was also confused at the strange movements of the people that were fine yesterday besides when they first drank the protein shake.
After deciding to get a close look Dave and Kaden made their way to the counter where everyone else was and began listening to the words that they were saying.
"HEY MAN CAN I JUST GET ONE MORE?"
"PLEASE I NEED ANOTHER SHAKE!"
"I WILL PAY FOR IT WITH MY BODY!"
All sorts of insane bargaining chips were being used by the people around Kaden and Dave for one of the protein shakes that the gym sold. Kaden found this strange as he thought about how the people from yesterday ended up tweaking out on the ground in agony before saying that they loved the protein shake. Also, he still found it strange that none of the regulars here found that this behavior was out of the ordinary. In fact, most of them hadn't even glanced at the crazed people at the counter.
"These people are like drug addicts! What kind of shake did you guys get?" Dave said with concern as he watched the people around them become more and more crazed for one of the shakes.
"I have one at the house I can show you later but it's a blue-like substance with black sprinkles." Kaden explained to Dave as someone finally lost it and jumped over the counter to chase after the cabinet that held the protein shakes before.
However, the second his feet landed on the other side of the counter a gust of wind blasted the person back over the counter and onto the ground making them cough up a little blood. At the sight of the blood, everyone calms down like icy water going over their heads. When everyone looked over to see who the cause of the wind was from they find Jim standing there with a smile on his face.
"Buying shakes are only allowed after practice sessions. Now everyone if you would please go to the mat and get ready for practice." He said with a smile still plastered on his face.
Seeing this none of the people in the room argued with him any longer and walked to the ring to begin their practice including the person he injured moments ago. Kaden thought about leaving but someone else beat him to it and began walking out of the gym but much to the surprise of Kaden and Dave he wasn't able to leave.
*POW*
A strong current like force hits the person as they tried to leave making them fly back into the ring scaring him and everyone else in the process but when they look towards Jim to see what is happening he is still wearing the same smile, "None of you are allowed to leave until the lesson is over. Now begin." He said telling them to do the jabs that they learned yesterday.
Waves of fear went through Kaden as he saw how Jim was beginning to act and treat the people around him and the rest of the group. Likewise, Dave had a complicated expression as he watched this but didn't make any moves as Kaden had not told him to do anything yet.
Moments later the ring was being used to practice jabs once again and even learning how to kick. As this was going on the nervous expression on everyone's faces didn't leave and the smile on Jim's didn't waver either. Kaden would have already began fighting his way out of the room and leave if he didn't already realize that when someone began trying to leave not only did Jim attack but out of the corner of his eye he saw that all of the other members of the gym were looking at the person trying to leave and was walking towards them before they got blasted by Jim. It seems that they would also attack if he tried to leave.
'What is up with these people?!' Kaden shouted within his mind as he kept jabbing and kicking. While the lessons were actually of high quality and helped him very much this atmosphere and the situation of the gym was too much for him.
As they continued Jim appeared before Dave and Kaden with a confused look on his face, "I don't seem to recall you from yesterday. Have you not had a lesson and tasted the shake yet?" He questioned curiously.
The question made Dave and Kaden's blood run cold as they realized Dave was the only new person in the group and also the only one that wasn't considered to have tasted the shake yet. It seems that Jim and the others had thought when he brought it home he had drank it without another thought but that was not the case.
"Yes I did come here yesterday. I actually bought one of the shakes yesterday as well which is also why I'm back here. I really want another!" Dave said convincingly with crazy eyes.
Jim seems to consider this for a moment before walking back to the cabinet where the shakes are held and opening it revealing the blue liquid that sparked the interest of all of those that were in the ring. Many of the people stopped what they were doing completely and just looked at the blue jars with obvious wanting and hunger in their eyes.
Kaden had assumed at this point that the blue liquid was some kind of drug meant to connect all of the people to the gym but for what reason Kaden did not know. If it were money they could have just sold the jars without the gym in addition but it didn't really matter to him as all he wanted was to leave.
After Jim grabbed one of the blue jars from the cabinet he walked back over to the ring with a glass in the other hand and poured a small amount of the shake into the glass making those in the ring drool. Jim then handed the glass with the shake in it to Dave.
"Is that right? If you were here yesterday and drank the shake then you wouldn't mind drinking this would you?" Jim said offering the glass.
