Chapter 48: Plans And Blood
Kaden began making his way back towards his apartment and began thinking of what he needed to do besides increasing his strength. His class focused mainly on creating an army of his own, which increased his power as well, but how does he begin? Sure he had Sky in his family but her alone wouldn't be enough to get where he needed to be and he doesn't have the chance to fight beasts like how he did in the exam because people are class rank checked when they try to leave the safe zone of the city and go into the beast territory.
The only thing left for him to do was to get people that were willing to join him but he also wanted them to be trustworthy and also powerful enough to matter. He still had the plan of keeping the army as lowkey as possible while also striking fear into those that heard the name mentioned.
'One step at a time.' Kaden thought to himself before thinking about one of his more important goals.
'I might have finally got my own yandere.' Kaden thought with a smile as he began thinking about Sky and the way she was treating him during the exam. Then his mind shifted to Emma and Ashly for a moment considering if they were yandere's but he quickly shook his head.
'One broke my heart and the other is an abusive psychopath. No thanks.' Kaden thought before realizing something.
What if she left? What if Sky decided one day that she no longer wanted him or didn't want to talk that day and then a day would turn into a week and a week into a month and so on. This plagued his mind and planted a small seed that hadn't been there before. This was his own yandere feelings welling up inside him. He didn't realize it but the more he talked and got attached to Sky the more he was just like her in the sense of obsessiveness. The cause still is unknown.
'Hmm I can't let her leave me. I will just have to do my best.' He thought with renewed energy.
With the new energy, Kaden decided to formulate a plan of action at his house. After countless hours of working in his room and sheets of paper thrown in the trash can, he had a general idea of what he wanted to do. The first thing was to make Sky as strong as he possibly can while they grow together. Kaden also wanted to make sure that during his time in school he makes as many friends as possible and scout for people to join his army in and out of the school.
Another thing was to try and recruit people such as the old man at the ramen shop because people like him with such amazing abilities couldn't be passed up but the same question still remains. How could he accomplish that? That wasn't a question he had the answer to quite yet but he thinks that after due time and him growing more he will learn new methods on how to get people to join and maybe even have new class abilities to help with it.
For now, he is just going to look around the school for people that pique his interest and find some way to recruit them.
Now with all his planning finished Kaden walked outside of his house once more and began walking towards the ramen shop. When he got near Ashly's door he made sure to peek and check to see if the door was even slightly open. Once he knew that it was safe to cross he sprinted across the hallway and straight back into the elevator.
While it may be cowardly to run away and avoid he like that he knew that he couldn't defeat her in a one-on-one battle. If he were to have all of the creatures he tamed in the exam then it would be different but sadly that was not the case. She seemed to have felt sad about the whole thing when Kaden left but despite that, he still thinks she will follow her impulses again once she runs low on her emotional energy.
'Good luck homie.' Kaden thought to the person who would experience her torture next. Even though he doesn't remember the process of it happening he still remembers the marks on his body and the aches from the night before. Needless to say he wanted almost nothing to do with her now. The only reason he wasn't going to retaliate was due to the fact that she had helped him so much during the exam and even a bit before it. He considered it a nice farewell present.
Kaden took the same route as the night before to get to the ramen shop but the only difference this time was that when he arrived someone was currently being stabbed. Standing in front of the shop was the same person from before that had sat next to Kaden when he got his soup but in front of them was a person in a dark cloak that was currently being dyed red due to the hand being shoved through the person's body.
"What's going on?!" Kaden yelled as he got closer trying to figure out the situation.
Normally under such strange circumstances, Kaden would have ignored it or left completely before calling some authorities to check it out but this time he somewhat knew the person and wanted to see what was happening.
When the person from the night before heard his voice they turned their head towards him quickly and upon realizing who it was began speaking, "You have returned here again? Did you get beat up again or something?" The kitsune mask-wearing person said to Kaden.
Kaden walked closer and closer to the two people thinking that the Kitsune masked person had just injured the other for whatever reason but that idea went completely out the window when Kaden saw the floating soul right above the person's head.
