Chapter 39: The Door Of Pain

Kaden went straight back to his apartment after talking with Emma and when he made it to his room he stopped for a moment and looked at Ashly's door wondering where she had gone after the group had split up but then he realized that the door to her apartment was slightly open which greatly confused him.

'Could someone have broken in? Is Ashly even in there at this moment?' Kaden thought to himself confused.

He then remembered that the last time he saw Ashly she was walking back towards the direction of the apartments with hurried steps for some reason. As Kaden remembered this he started to wonder of something might be wrong and maybe she needs help or she could have simply not shut her door properly.

Deciding that it wasn't his problem and that she could handle herself more than likely anyway Kaden walked over to the door and was just going to shut it for her but when his hand reached down for the door suddenly the door swung wide open revealing a very distraught and crazy looking Ashly but when she saw Kaden the desperation on her face turned into a smile.

"Good timing, come with me~" She said before grabbing his arm and pulling him inside like some kind of doll.

What I mean by a doll is that I stumbled at first and fell on the ground but that didn't inconvenience her in the slightest as she kept dragging me through the entrance of her apartment. After regaining my footing on the ground and standing up as I was being dragged I finally wanted to know what was going on.

"What's wrong? Why are you bringing me in here?" Kaden asked confused as they entered the living room.

The living room had the same design as Kaden's with a simple living area and a couch with a tv across from it for easy access. However, there was a slight difference in the way that the rooms were set up between Kaden and Ashly. While Kaden hadn't changed his room in the slightest besides a few personal things Ashly had done a full makeover in her room despite only moving in there recently.

The room was filled with small little water fountains that sprinkled water along tiny little rivers and trees on each counter or table. The room was also filled with all sorts of strange lights which lightened the room as it seems she doesn't turn on the normal light switches. This was not the main attraction apparently as in the corner of the room there was a large shelf that was filled with all sorts of books and magazines. At the moment Kaden had no idea what the contents of them were but decided to look at them later.

"I have something I need from you~" Ashly hummed as she sat Kaden down on the floor in the middle of the living room.

'This doesn't seem good.' Kaden thought to himself as he started to study Ashly more.

The way she was treating him seemed normal based on her behavior before but when he looked into her eyes they were a little unfocused and distorted while her body was beginning to sweat lightly which confused him. She almost seemed like some sort of drug addict looking for their fix and Kaden is that fix.

"What could you need from me?" Kaden asked with curiosity burning inside him.

When Kaden said this Ashly's mouth curled into an eerie smile which scared him as much as before when she started talking about her sadistic nature, "You see after using my class for such a long time during the exam I'm quite drained and need a refill of sort and you're going to be helping with that~" She cooed to him will squatting down and looking him eye to eye with her new nature.

Kaden was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the situation as thoughts raced within his mind of what she could mean by all of this but when he thought of some of the things she had said before he looked at her with surprise.

"You can't mean some form of pain or anything right? You wouldn't do something like that." Kaden said laughing slightly trying to lighten the mood but when she didn't answer he knew that he needed to get out of there.

"Well sorry to tell you this but I need to take a rain check my umm family member that I have just texted saying they need help with that thing so I'm going to go now." Kaden said before standing up once more and walking swiftly towards the door. He made it almost to the knob and didn't here Ashly chasing after him so he sighed in relief as he gripped the door handle until he felt something cover his mouth from behind.

He couldn't help but draw a deep breath when something like that happened and it was the wrong move as the second he inhaled his body was overcome with a sluggish and tired feeling all over him that dropped him on the ground once more. This time however he wasn't able to fend off Ashly and was dragged back into the middle of the room where he was before and confronted face to face with the smiling Ashly.

"Now now, that's not very polite to leave before you have done your part now is it~" She said taking the rag off of Kaden's face.

He didn't know what drug was in that cloth but its effects were extreme as even after the rag had been removed he still did not feel the effects of it lessen by any degree. All he could do is stare and watch as Ashly walked into the other room and then re-enter the living room with a bunch of metal tools and different items commonly used for torture and other methods of harm induced on others.

'Oh no.' Kaden thought with immense fright as his eyes widened.
