Chapter 32: Exam Part 6 First Death
"ROARRRRR!" The ape yelled loudly towards Kaden and his group once they were face to face.
"WHAT IS THAT THING?!" Emma yelled surprised by the sudden appearance of the ape.
Kaden then remembered what happened with the Rattler and how there was a tag above its head saying what it was and the rank of it so he looked up and sure enough it was there the same as before.

'We might be in trouble.' Kaden thought as sweat began to form on his face.
"THIS THING IS A HIGHER RANK THAN THE RATTLER! EMMA! YOU MOVE DOWN TO THE GROUND AND GET SAFE WHILE SKY YOU GET YOUR DAGGERS OUT!" Kaden shouted trying to formulate a plan.
Kaden's shout brought them all back down to earth as Sky was caught off guard as well. At Kaden's demand, the Rattler dropped its head down low for Emma to jump off while Sky summoned her daggers and the ape began making its way towards the Rattler running through trees.
Emma heeded Kaden's words and jumped off when she was given the chance and ran into the trees where she wouldn't be seen. Kaden then began commanding the Rattler and Emma as the ape began to get in range. The closer it got the more Kaden could see about the Great Ape. It was a gorilla-looking beast with a height of over 3 buses. Its biceps and others muscles were also quite visible giving off the idea that if its attacks connected it would not end well.
"WRAP AROUND THE BOTTOM OF ITS LEGS! SKY YOU RUN UP THE BACK OF IT AND WE WILL BUY YOU TIME!" Kaden shouted commanding those around him as he knew that Sky was the only one with real attack power besides the Rattler but there also needed to be someone to distract the ape while someone else tried to get good attacks. He also determined that the Rattler would be perfect to stall for time since it would hopefully be able to wrap around it easily.
Kaden had no idea whether Sky would be able to do some sort of damage to such a thing but it was worth a shot. Once the ape was within range and Sky was in place Kaden commanded to go towards the ape as well. Now both the Rattler and the Great Ape were running towards each other at an extremely fast pace. Once they connected it was like an earthquake struck the ground.
The ground below them cracked and changed as the head of the Rattler slammed against the chest of the Great Ape. It then took its enormous muscular arms and wrapped them around its neck trying to kill it off immediately but little did it know that was what Kaden wanted from the beginning.
Since the apes arms were wrapped around the Rattler's neck the head was close to the neck and chest of the ape allowing Sky to safely jump from the head onto the neck of the ape which greatly confused it. Seeing the tiny human jump on one of its biceps and then disappear behind its neck soon after caused it to panic slightly as it did not know what the tiny human could do.
While the ape focused on Sky that just ran up its neck it slightly let go of the Rattler and even took one hand off its neck to try and grab Sky as she was running which gave the Rattler an opening to escape from its grasp which it immediately took at Kaden's command. The Rattler jerked its head from the Great Apes' grasp and started wrapping its body around the apes waist restricting its movement but of course, the ape wouldn't take this lightly. It took its arms once more and grabbed at the body of the Rattler pulling and yanking at it trying to pull it off which caused some slight bleeding on the Rattler's body as the sharp nails of the ape dug into its skin. Kaden was just doing his best to hold on during this situation and help where he can but at this moment he had no idea where Sky might have been and he had no way to tell but there was something that came to his mind that made him inwardly facepalm for not recognizing before.
"BITE INTO ITS SHOULDER!" Kaden shouted to the Rattler as it was holding on for dear life as well under the attack of the Great Ape. Heeding its masters' words the Rattler opened its mouth showcasing its sharp fangs before digging them deep inside the ape's shoulder.
"ROARRR!" The ape screamed in pain as it took damage for the first time and red blood began to stream from its shoulder.
Kaden smiled and thought that there might be a chance out of this situation and for them to take down this beast until suddenly the Great Ape went into some sort of trance. It went still for a moment before a red aura started to coat its body and its eyes turned into a dark red.
'Is that some sort of rage mode?!' Kaden thought in panic not thinking that this beast would have some sort of ability.
However, despite his hopes it did seem that it did have an ability as when its eyes finally turned fully red the previously already large muscles became even bigger and the veins under its skin began to bulge and looked as if they were about to pop.
'Oh no.' Kaden thought inside his mind in panic as his instinct had alarms going off all over the place as he thought that this would be quite bad.
His instinct was correct as the ape began thrashing around forcefully trying to get the snake off of it and it ended up getting one hand free before gripping the body of the Rattler and forcing it off of it freeing the other hand. Now with both hands-free the ape grabbed onto the body of the Rattler and pulled it in opposite directions with extreme force before the Rattler was ripped in half.
