Looking at the water all over the floor, Xia Xin felt goosebumps erupt on her skin. She quickly followed MO Shu, wanting to move away from the water. Suddenly her vision blurred, and she slipped on a puddle, losing her balance and tumbling into the pool.
As Xia Xin hit the water, she snapped back to her senses just long enough to yell, “Help, I can’t swim!”
And with that, Xia Xin plunged into the water.
In a panic, Xia Xin flailed about underwater. She had always been afraid of water and usually avoided it at all costs. She hadn’t expected the system’s side effects to kick in at such a moment, making her momentarily dizzy before she lost her footing and fell into the pool.

Just as Xia Xin had inhaled a few gulps of water, a pair of strong hands gripped her waist, and another hand supported her neck, pulling her to the surface.
