Chapter 55: Infiltrating The Slave Den

“You dare to hit me?!”

The greasy man spat out two loose teeth and stood up shakily. He pointed at Jin Yang. “Do you know who I am? The owner of this place and I…”

Before he finished speaking, Jin Yang shot Shao An a look. Shao An took out a check from his pocket and wrote a number before tossing it over.

“I don’t care who you are. Take the money and scram.”

“I don’t care about your money…”

The greasy man cursed but inadvertently glanced at the check. He was taken aback.

Under the dim light, he could clearly see that there were several zeros behind the numbers.

“Hundred, hundred thousand, million…”

The greasy man quietly swallowed his saliva and looked at Shao An again. The figure in front of him was abnormally tall and sturdy, and his aura was extraordinary. Since he could give away so much money, he was definitely not someone to be trifled with.

He immediately changed his attitude and said with a flattering smile, “So you’re a big shot. I was really stupid to actually dare to offend you…”

The greasy man took the check, still muttering, “But I can’t believe it. It’s just a toy. I can’t believe he cares so much…”

Jin Yang stared at the man from above with a straight face. The coldness in his eyes could kill.

“I’m warning you, she’s not a toy.”

“Yes, yes, yes. I have a foul mouth. I misspoke!”

Cold sweat trickled down the greasy man’s back. He lowered his head and apologized profusely.

“Then get lost!”

Shao An glared fiercely at the greasy man. The greasy man fled without daring to make another sound.

Jin Yang’s expression was dark and cold.

This surprised Shao An.

He had been under Jin Yang for many years. No matter what happened, he would never reveal his emotions.

For this Qiu Tong, he actually…

Qiu Tong did not notice Shao An’s strange expression. She surveyed the interior. “After I control the situation inside, I will make a red mark on the necks of the ‘slaves’ during the auction.”

No red mark would mean nothing had changed.

“Okay”

Jin Yang nodded. “Be careful.”

Qiu Tong smiled. “I won’t allow anything to happen to me.”

In the post-apocalyptic era, she was a major general after all. She had killed thousands of zombies. How could these few terrorists be her match?

Jin Yang pursed his lips and didn’t say anything else. He followed the plan and brought Qiu Tong to the staff.

With Qiu Tong’s pitiful status as ‘slave’, plus her good figure and beauty, she was quickly sold back. She was brought back to the slave den.

The slave den was in the basement. Qiu Tong was shocked by what she saw.

The basement was as big as two basketball courts, and there were no partitions. Apart from young women like her, the rest were mostly old, weak, sick and disabled. Everyone’s clothes were ragged, and their expressions were dazed.

There were strong men, too, although everyone appeared to be suffering from varying degrees of injury. The air smelled stale.

Qiu Tong frowned and decided to wait and see.

When it was time for dinner, the guards carried two large buckets of steamed buns to the door. “Eat, you animals.”

The slaves snatched at the buns like crazy!

Qiu Tong had successfully snatched two steamed buns and was walking back when a boy suddenly flew in front of her, having been kicked by someone.

A burly man walked over. “Hand over the steamed bun and I won’t hit you!”

“I won’t… Ah—”

The little boy did not give in. He firmly protected the steamed bun in his hand.

The burly man was enraged and started punching and kicking the little boy. The little boy’s nose and mouth were covered in blood…

The scene was very cruel, but the surrounding slaves were busy wolfing down the food that they had snatched. The other slaves who had not managed to snatch anything were watching anxiously. No one came forward to help.

This scene reminded Qiu Tong of her three children.

When the three children were with the former owner of her body, they didn’t have enough to eat, no warm clothes to wear, and were bullied. They were just like the little boy in front of her.

She wondered how they were doing now.

Qiu Tong stepped up with a frown. “It’s your own fault you didn’t manage to get any buns yourself. Why are you trying to snatch his?”

“Ignorant fool, get lost!”

The burly man flew into a rage and threw a punch at her. Qiu Tong dodged it perfectly.

Qiu Tong smirked and grabbed the man’s hand, throwing him over her shoulder. “You should be the one getting lost!”

“You…”

The burly man wanted to stand up again, but Qiu Tong stepped on him ruthlessly.

He gritted his teeth and said fiercely, “Just you wait!”

If not for his four broken ribs, how could this b*tch be his match?

Qiu Tong ignored his venomous gaze and kicked him away, dusting off her hands. “I’ll be waiting!”
