Chapter 48: Money
Disregarding the outcome, Jin Yang’s thoughts were in a mess.
Qiu Tong leaned against the ropes of the ring, proudly curling the ends of her hair around her fingertips. She lifted her head proudly and heroically, the familiar expression causing Jin Yang so much pain that he couldn’t breathe.
He placed a hand over his heart and knelt on one knee. But he then suddenly grabbed Qiu Ying’s wrist!
“What’s the matter?”
Qiu Tong lowered her eyes in bewilderment. When she met his blank and helpless gaze, her heart trembled.
Jin Yang panted heavily and asked, “Have we… really never met before?”
