Chapter 307: Hostage Situation
Many years ago, on a stormy night.
The Vulture Organization sent their top assassins to surround Jin Yang. In order to protect him, Qiu Tong attacked them to attract the enemy’s attention.
Jin Yang dragged his heavily injured body back to the vicinity of the villa, but he was stabbed during an ambush.
“You were severely injured and in a coma for many days. I got the butler to feed you some medicine that can cause you to lose your memories and completely erase Qiu Tong’s existence from your mind. I wanted to kill Qiu Tong and eliminate future troubles, but she managed to escape and survive.”

All that had happened had severely disrupted Jin Yang’s plans.
He frowned and asked Song Yan, “You knew from the start?”
Song Yan did not answer. He lowered his eyes and clenched his fists.
Qiu Tong’s eyes were filled with anger. She used all her strength to break free from the guards. The veins on her neck bulged as she growled, “Why? Qiu Xingyuan and the rest trusted you so much! Jin Yang and I also trusted you, that’s why we let you stay at home to protect them!”
“Why have you let us down? Why did you drag innocent children into our feud?”
Qiu Tong clenched her fists, her voice trembling from anxiety. “Just because you want to fight with Jin Yang for the position of president? I thought you understood that all those things in the past were just misunderstandings, and things would be different in the future. At the very least, you should remember the time we spent together. I didn’t expect you to have the same cold and ruthless blood flowing in your veins as Jin Tao. You will be left with nothing in the end. Even if you kill Jin Yang and me, no one will ever obey you!”

Qiu Tong’s words made Song Yan’s thin lips gradually lose color. Jin Tao noticed the fluctuations in his emotions and placed his palm on Song Yan’s shoulder. He said arrogantly, “Don’t listen to their nonsense. If you have power, you will naturally get everything you want!”
“Let’s go. Bring the scientist to the laboratory.”
Jin Tao came in front of the butler and kicked his chest.
The butler spat out two mouthfuls of blood and fell to the ground in pain.
Jin Tao took out a dagger and cut off two of his fingers.
Muffled wails echoed in the room. Jin Tao threw the bloodstained dagger to the ground and wiped the blood from his palm with a handkerchief before tossing it nonchalantly on the butler’s face.
Terrence pushed Qiu Rong to the laboratory. Before him were the most high-end instruments and top-grade chemicals.
This place had the highest level of security in the Liqing Corporation. Jin Tao pressed the muzzle of the pistol to Qiu Tong’s temple and lazily gestured for Qiu Rong to walk to the test bench. “Scientist, please make two bottles of the drug according to the correct ratio.”
“If you can concoct it, I will spare your daughter’s life.”
“Otherwise, she will die in front of you…”
Jin Tao sensed Jin Yang’s cold gaze and waved his hand with a frown. He said impatiently, “Of course, I won’t kill my own son.”
“I built this building for you guys. After tonight, your whole family will live here. Be it food or other aspects, there will be people taking special care of you. You might even live better than you do outside… just that you won’t have the freedom to leave.”

Qiu Rong wanted to rush over, but there were too many guards surrounding him.

Qiu Rong instantly gave in. Ye Luan and Qiu Xingyuan also received permission to help.

Jin Tao’s heart softened. He felt that the little girl would not be able to cause too much trouble. He gestured for Terrence to find her a computer to use.
When Qiu Tong heard Qiu Xingyu’s words, she felt that something was up. She looked up at Qiu Xingyuan and realized that Qiu Xingyuan’s index and middle fingers were crossed and slightly bent. This was their unique communication method. It meant that everything was going according to plan.
