Qiu Tong sat on the picnic bench. Jin Yang took off his jacket and placed it in her arms.
Jin Yang rolled up his sleeves and used a lighter to light the charcoal.

Shao An was shocked. “This will cause food poisoning!”
Jin Yang shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and continued to ponder over the best way to barbecue. After experiencing countless failures, he finally walked over to Qiu Tong with a satisfactory piece of barbecued meat. He tried his best to hand it over in a casual manner. “This is for you. Try it.”
Qiu Tong overheard the entire conversation between him and Shao An earlier. She tried to keep a straight face and took the skewer from him. “Thank you.”
Beside the bonfire, Jin Yang draped his jacket over Qiu Tong’s shoulders. From time to time, he would adjust the size of the fire.
Qiu Xingyu took the initiative to bring over for Jin Yang some food and fruit juice that she had prepared . Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao also awkwardly stuffed a couple of apples into Jin Yang’s hands. The children of the Qiu family treated him the same as they did with Qiu Tong. They were direct, but still somewhat awkward.
“I’m especially happy today!”
Qiu Xingyu bounced on the spot, waving a sparkler in her hand.
The children sang loudly in unison. At night, on the lawn of the park, Qiu Tong felt a warmth she had never felt before. She slowly leaned her head on Jin Yang’s shoulder, enjoying the happiness of this moment. Jin Yang gently held her hand, his index finger and thumb pinching her palm, infusing her with warmth.

She went back to her bedroom and came out with two sets of fresh clothes. She knocked lightly on Jin Yang’s door. Jin Yang turned the doorknob. He was still wearing a towel wrapped around his waist. He was wiping his wet hair and tilted his head to look at Qiu Tong.
“Here, I prepared your pajamas.”
“I bought the size according to Ke Le’s figure. It shouldn’t be too small.”
Jin Yang looked at her with a smile. Qiu Tong’s ears turned red as she walked into the room and placed the clothes on a stool.
“Why did you prepare clothes for me?”
“If you wanted me to come and stay here, why didn’t you contact me?”
Jin Yang asked jokingly. Qiu Tong frowned and turned to leave without replying. However, her toes accidentally kicked the corner of the table. The intense pain made her fall forward uncontrollably.
Qiu Tong instinctively reached out to support herself against the wardrobe, but she fell into his strong arms instead.
The water droplets from Jin Yang’s hair fell on Qiu Tong’s arm. Qiu Tong rested her hand on Jin Yang’s shoulder. When she raised her head, she met his dark eyes, which were as deep as a pool. She was a little dazed. Jin Yang smiled and bent his index finger to tap the tip of her nose. He said in a doting and seductive voice, “If you wanted to stay, just say so. Why resort to this?”
Qiu Tong was taken aback. She came to her senses and pushed Jin Yang away slightly.
As she rushed to the door, Jin Yang leaned over and grabbed her elbow. With his other hand holding the back of her head, he leaned over and kissed her.
Qiu Tong felt her body go limp. She instinctively hooked her arms around Jin Yang’s neck and kicked the bedroom door shut.
Jin Yang chuckled. Qiu Tong bit his lower lip with a frown, punishing him in a teasing manner.
“How long can you stay here?”
Jin Yang pulled off Qiu Tong’s hair tie and her wavy hair cascaded down with a lemon fragrance.
Jin Yang buried his face in her neck, his tongue licking her nimbly.
Hearing Qiu Tong’s question, Jin Yang replied with dark eyes, “As long as you want. I can stay by your side forever!”
Qiu Tong’s heart skipped a beat. Although she understood that these were just sweet nothings, she still could not help falling for them.
She took the initiative to wrap her legs around Jin Yang’s strong waist, inviting him deeper into her.
Jin Yang lowered his head and used his tongue to draw a beautiful picture of Qiu Tong’s body. He then explored her chest with his tongue.
