Chapter 212: Kidnapping Qiu Tong
Qiu Tong was sitting on a park bench outside the villa.
Two stray cats rubbed against her ankles and jumped onto Qiu Tong’s lap coquettishly, waiting for her to gently scratch their bellies.
Their adorable expressions gradually relaxed Qiu Tong, and a smile appeared on her face.
Thinking of Jin Yang and Song Yan, who were always arguing with each other at home, Qiu Tong felt a headache coming on. She even regretted making the decision to marry Jin Yang.
Now, not only was the matter not resolved, it had become even more troublesome than before.
It was getting late. Qiu Tong had brought two cans of cat food from the convenience store and she placed them on the ground. She was about to go home when she saw a bent old man in front of her. He stood beside the trash can and rummaged through it with difficulty. In the next second, he suddenly held his head and swayed as he fell to the side of the road.
Qiu Tong frowned and rushed to his side to help him. “Are you alright?”
“Thank you.”
“You’re so kind-hearted!”
The old man coughed twice and grabbed Qiu Tong’s wrist, wanting to stand up. He kept thanking her.
A gust of wind blew past. The plastic bag that the old man had in his hands was blown away. It was empty.
Qiu Tong sensed that he was holding her wrist a bit too tightly and immediately became wary.
Just as she was about to dodge and break free, the old man raised his right hand and took out a syringe. He jabbed it into the back of Qiu Tong’s neck.
The old man raised his head, revealing a pair of familiar and shrewd eyes. He pulled off his mask. “Kind-hearted people often bring trouble upon themselves. It has been a long time since we last met, Qiu Tong. You’re still as stupid and gullible as ever!”
It was Dina! Qiu Tong held her breath, wanting to control the speed at which the chemicals flowed through her body. However, her eyelids gradually closed and she fainted.
Dina pressed a button on his communication device and an ordinary-looking van drove over from afar.
Dina’s men helped carry Qiu Tong to the car and quickly left.
Two hours later, Qiu Tong woke up groggily.
In front of them was a dilapidated abandoned factory. Dina’s men from the terrorist organization were sitting by the bonfire, drinking and eating.
Qiu Tong was tied to a stone pillar in the corner. She tried to struggle but realized that the hemp rope was tightly bound and there was no room for her to move.
Dina realized what she was doing and squatted in front of her with a dagger in his hand. The cold blade lifted her chin and slowly rubbed against her carotid artery.
“We finally meet again.”
Qiu Tong narrowed her eyes and realized that Yu Ge was sitting in the distance covered in blood. Realization dawned upon her. “Did you do all that?”
“Yes.”
Dina admitted as he stood up. He took out two hospital photos and handed them to Qiu Tong.
He pointed at the shadow that had almost spread to the entire lung. “I have lung cancer, but I don’t want to die! I want to find a way to survive…”
“I know you have a solution! You can help me, right?”
Dina’s eyes were bloodshot. In the face of death, he had become very agitated and extreme.
Qiu Tong understood his request and regained her composure. After all, Dina needed her to recover and he would not let her die.
“Is this how you treat me when you want my help?”
A mocking smile appeared on Qiu Tong’s lips as she raised her head to question him. Yu Ge was bandaging his wounds and could not control his resentment when he saw her. He dragged his battered body over to Dina. “Boss, please give me another chance to interrogate her on your behalf!”
“I know Qiu Tong very well. I know how to make her yield and make her willing to treat you.”
Yu Ge’s eyes shone with excitement. Dina’s body needed rest after this ordeal. He waved his hand and gestured for Yu Ge to do it.
Yu Ge revealed a fervent and wicked smile. He rubbed his hands together and approached Qiu Tong with a soft whip in his hand. “You didn’t expect your life to fall into my hands one day, right? Why aren’t you smiling anymore? Are you still hoping that someone will come and save you?”
“Stop dreaming! Accept your fate!”
Yu Ge raised his hand and slapped Qiu Tong hard on the face. Qiu Tong looked up at him, her eyes filled with sympathy and pity. “You are always a dog for others no matter where you go. Dina needs me, but he doesn’t need you…”
“Between you and me, who do you think he will choose?”
“Why don’t we give it a try?”
Qiu Tong licked the blood from the corner of her lips. The smell of blood filled the air. She smiled brightly, her eyes flashing with disdain.
Yu Ge was a little flustered. He wanted to cover Qiu Tong’s mouth, but she rushed to shout, “Dina! I can save you…”
“Come here. Let’s talk terms.”
Joy flashed across Dina’s face. He rushed over to Qiu Tong and pushed Yu Ge away. “What do you want?”
“Let me go and prepare a laboratory counter for me to develop the medicine.”
“Also, tie him up so that I can use him as a lab rat to test the medicine for you!”
Qiu Tong’s finger landed on Yu Ge. Yu Ge trembled in fear and shook his head, sensing the danger. “Don’t listen to her nonsense!”
“Boss, she’s stalling for time. She wants to wait for her companions to save her!”
Yu Ge knelt on the ground, but Qiu Tong was in no rush. She looked straight at Dina, her eyes filled with confidence.
