In his temporary official residence in S City, Jin Yang sat on the sofa and touched the sachet on his neck with his fingers. It was a quiet night.
Shao An looked at Jin Yang, who maintained the same posture throughout the video call. He could not help but clear his throat and remind him, “Sir, since the unrest in S City has been quelled and the perpetrators have been subdued, shouldn’t you be back in the capital to take charge?”
