Chapter 181: Shower Scent
Early in the morning, Qiu Tong came out of the bedroom in her pajamas. She stretched and looked at the guest room, feeling a little awkward as she recalled everything that had happened last night.
Click. The door next door opened.
Qiu Tong was a little flustered and wanted to turn around to dodge, but she heard two soft chuckles from behind. “Good morning.”
Song Yan rubbed his messy hair. He deliberately yawned and walked to Qiu Tong’s side, greeting her in a hoarse and magnetic voice.
Qiu Tong pursed her red lips. From the corner of her eye, she saw Song Yan lean over. Her face flushed red as she said in a muffled voice, “Good morning.”
Song Yan narrowed his long and narrow eyes. He deliberately reached out to remove a fallen eyelash from Qiu Tong’s face.
The temperature of his fingertips was a little cold. Qiu Tong instinctively lowered her eyes but did not move away. Their posture was slightly intimate and suggestive.
A cool breeze blew over from outside the villa. Qiu Tong suddenly smelled a special shower gel scent on Song Yan—it was not the lemon fragrance from last night.
Back when Qiu Tong was stocking up on daily necessities, she had bought a few boxes of lemon-flavored shower gel and kept them at home as a backup.
Last night, Jin Yang had used that shower gel before he came out of the bathroom. Qiu Tong definitely remembered that familiar smell.
Qiu Tong frowned in confusion. She pulled the front of Song Yan’s shirt toward her to smell, muttering to herself. “Didn’t you use the lemon-scented shower gel yesterday? Did you prepare other toiletries for yourself?”
Jin Yang’s overnight stay had been an unexpected situation. How could he have prepared other toiletries?
Song Yan suddenly realized that Qiu Tong seemed to have noticed some suspicious discrepancies between him and Jin Yang. He cursed Jin Yang in his heart for causing trouble for him!
“The children are watching. Isn’t it improper for us to be like this?”
Song Yan leaned back and held Qiu Tong’s wrist to control her movements. He tilted his head and reminded her with a teasing smile.
Qiu Tong was stunned for a moment. She turned around and saw that Qiu Xingyuan, Qiu Xingqiao and Little Yu had come out of their rooms at some point and were staring at the two of them quietly.
Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao pursed their lips. Their expressions were indescribably conflicted, causing Qiu Tong to feel a little guilty.
Qiu Xingyu’s eyes shone with excitement. She hurriedly covered her eyes and muttered, “Mommy, don’t worry about us!”
“We didn’t see anything. We won’t peek either!”
“You can continue with Uncle Song Yan…”
Qiu Xingyu’s childish words embarrassed Qiu Tong. She shook off Song Yan’s hand and asked with a frown, “When did they appear? Why didn’t you tell me?”
Song Yan shrugged slightly and leaned against the wall. He pretended to be innocent and said, “You didn’t give me a chance.”
He quietly pointed at his shirt, which Qiu Tong had pulled into disarray, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Qiu Tong looked away as she said, “Quickly tidy your shirt.”
Song Yan asked, “You wanted to smell my scent just now? Why don’t you continue?”
He deliberately spread his arms, confident that Qiu Tong would not dare to carry out such an intimate act in front of the children. His tone was teasing.
Qiu Xingyu had covered her eyes with her hands, but when Qiu Tong wasn’t paying attention, she peeped at Song Yan and Qiu Tong through the gaps between her fingers.
Qiu Xingyuan was so angry that his face turned red. He and Qiu Xingqiao rushed over to Qiu Xingyu and covered her eyes tightly.
Little Yu pouted in annoyance. She wanted to push away her brothers’ hands, but she did not have enough strength. She could only stamp her feet to express her frustration.
“Why is it that only my brothers can watch? I’m not a child and I want to see Mommy too…”
