Chapter 115: Government Order
Qiu Tong scooped up a bottle of locust pesticide, unscrewed the cap and placed it at the tip of her nose to sniff. She poured out two drops onto her skin, and sure enough, there were red spots.
It seemed that there was indeed a component of the pesticide that would cause an allergic reaction!

Lin Shan stared intently in the direction where the car had left. Grabbing the order form that Chief Officer Fang had given her, she rushed to Shu Xian’s factory.
The factory where Shu Xian produced protective gear was located in the suburbs. Lin Shan had been close to Shu Xian recently and was also familiar with the security guards. She pushed open the door and entered the office. She saw Shu Xian with his feet crossed and holding a game console, cursing incessantly.
Lin Shan frowned and waved her hand to disperse the cigarette smoke in the room. She strode gracefully to sit on his lap and hooked her arm around Shu Xian’s neck.
Shu Xian impatiently wanted to push Lin Shan away. “Move aside, don’t disturb me! Go over there and entertain yourself for a while…”
Lin Shan didn’t say anything else. She just waved the order form in front of him.
Shu Xian looked at the screen that displayed the words “Game Over”. He then looked at the order form. “Protective apparatus? Where did you get this?”
Lin Shan gave a simple recap of the locust pesticide incident. She thought that she would be able to hear Shu Xian’s praise, but unexpectedly, he threw the order aside in disdain. He took two deep puffs of his cigarette, narrowed his eyes, and puffed out a few smoke rings. “Although the government has ordered a lot of apparatus, there’s actually not much profit in this!”
“The deadline to produce these protective apparatus is very tight. They want us to make them before the locusts get out of control.”
“The government’s price is so low. And I have to pay the workers overtime. What profit is there for me? Let’s push this job to someone else!”
Shu Xian’s factory was quite big so he naturally looked down on this small sum of money.
Lin Shan’s heart surged with disdain at his short-sightedness. She adjusted her emotions and said gently, “Don’t be rash.”
