Movies, due to budget and special effects constraints, often couldn’t capture the grandeur of epic fantasy scenes. Hollywood films were not an exemption to this rule.

For instance, in Marvel's famous "Thor 3," a battle for the destruction of Asgard, which should have been breathtaking, was depicted as Thor dueling with a few soldiers on the Rainbow Bridge. The fighting style appeared too conventional, akin to a brawl from ancient times, lacking that world-shattering impact.

In the realm of filmmaking, creating world-shattering special effects that look realistic was a costly endeavor. Firms won't readily allow the accumulation of such expenses for the sake of realism, resulting in mythological battles that look rather childlike.

But today, everything happening in Antarctica has finally shown people what a true God of Thunder was and what a real divine war looked like!

Thunder Rumbles—

People from Asia, Europe, and the Americas have their hands on the windows, looking at the skies outside, where lightning flashed. The whole world plunged into a thunderous hell.

"Those lightning bolts won't strike us, will they?"

"Do lightning rods work against divine lightning like this?"

"Oh, my God! Lightning has covered the entire globe. This is the power of the gods!"

“......”

Everyone looked at the sky with fear. In ancient times, lightning was a symbol of divinity - a power only the mightiest gods, like the King of the Gods, Zeus, or even Odin - could command.

Even though modern humanity had long unraveled the mysteries of lightning, humans still held a sense of awe towards this power.

Moreover, in a time when the gods had truly appeared, who could guarantee that the lightning they hurled was the same as natural lightning? It was likely a mystery that current Earthly technology could not comprehend.

Simultaneously, aircraft worldwide were grounded, and those aboard planes in the sky were in states of panic.

In Antarctica, Thor leaped down from his chariot pulled by goats. His eyes burn with the fire of thunder, gathering all the lightning from around the world, drawn by his hammer of the Thunder God.

“SURTUR!!!!”

A thunderous roar echoed from Thor's mouth, the colossal soundwave spreading across the planet, like a world-shattering thunderbolt. Countless people were startled and found themselves sitting on the ground at that moment. Those with heart conditions were nearly frightened to death, and some vehicles on the road, under the pressure of this roar, skidded and collided with walls.

Norse gods, despite guarding the Nine Worlds, inherently represented fury. If they were in the world of San Soliel, they would be categorized as gods of rage. They never truly cared about humanity and the consequences of their actions on humans.

If it weren't for Odin, the Allfather, protecting the Earth with runic spells, a single encounter between Odin and Surtur would likely have been enough to devastate the planet.

Of course, these were human interpretations and human thoughts to speculate on divine intentions. Louie, the instigator behind all of this, didn't have so many extra thoughts. He just wanted to show off and bring some surprises to the world.

Thor's thunderous shout probably caused a certain amount of economic loss to the entire world. However, this level of damage was negligible for humanity as a whole. In Antarctica, following the world-shaking cry, Thor's hammer struck the continent.

In the cold silence, a bright light rapidly expanded from the center of Antarctica. In an instant, the entire Earth was adorned with countless lightning bolts, shooting into the cosmic void.

If it were the electric phenomena that humans understood, at the moment when these thunderbolts appeared, it's estimated that electrical appliances worldwide would have been damaged. However, peculiarly, the thunderbolts emitted by Thor appeared to have physical properties entirely different from natural lightning. They didn't disrupt human electrical civilization. But the dazzling effect was nothing short of astonishing.

At that moment, Earth seemed to transform into a planet composed of electricity and light. It radiated a dazzling light like the Sun within the solar system.

"These lightning bolts have flown out of Earth, and... some of the smaller meteoroids floating in space have been shattered!"

“Damn, the electrical output from Thor's hammer could power humanity for how many years!!”

Experts were utterly shocked. The entire atmosphere had turned into a power plant, ceaselessly spewing forth lightning bolts. For humans who had long been constrained by resources and even struggled to launch themselves beyond Earth, the energy released by Thor's single strike was almost unbearable.

It's no wonder people were cursing. If this energy were harnessed properly, humanity could save untold sums of money every year.

But then, when one delved deeper into the implications, it became even more frightening. The energy from a single strike of Thor's hammer had the potential to push humanity into space. The gulf between humans and gods was insurmountable.

"It's terrifying! The total energy from just this one hammer strike, I doubt all the countries in the world combined could match it."

"It's fortunate that these thunderbolts are flying into space. If they exploded within the Earth, I bet it would instantly shatter our planet into pieces."

"I don't know about the Earth being destroyed, but humans would definitely be finished."

"What if we detonated all the world's nuclear weapons at once, would it produce the same effect?"

People discussed frantically, and the numerous leaders of countries participating in the United Nations summit couldn't help but smile bitterly.

This was going too far. The effect produced by humanity's most powerful weapons combined couldn't even match that of a single strike from a god. It made humanity's thousands of years of development seem futile.

No wonder even extraterrestrial civilizations sometimes believed in gods. This was entirely two different dimensions of beings!

At the same time, people worldwide who were paying attention to the situation in Antarctica engaged in fervent discussions. With supporting data from experts, humanity was left speechless, growing in awe of the gods and reinforcing their faith.

After Thor's strike struck all the fire giants on the Antarctic continent turned into ashes. The Valkyries cheered in jubilation. Thor paid no attention to their blessings and cheers. His eyes, burning like flames, turned toward Cthulhu, who was attempting to escape far out to sea.

This evil god, whose myth was named after himself, had been hiding in a corner ever since Odin's appearance, putting on a pitiful, weak, and helpless facade.
