Soon a day passed, and unfortunately, the pain showed no signs of going down

Using stabbing himself and biting his tongue as a means not to lose consciousness, the goblins eye's reddened with determination

Blood curling currents kept flowing through his body as his blood seemed to boil

The veins on his head popped out making it look like they were about to explode at anymore

*Damn I don't think I can hold it much longer!*

*Could it be that this is the end of the road for me?*

With thoughts of weakness going through his mind, the pain showed signs of getting the best of him.

Soon another day passed, and the pain continued as always, still leaving the goblin shouting with agony.

However, different from yesterday, his movements had already started to become sluggish.

His eyes were completely blank only his mechanical stabbing of himself seemed to signify a bit of consciousness still remained.

Obviously, things weren't looking good. According to the current rate, if his current state continued much longer then his mind would completely go blank.

Unfinished the goblin was completely aware of this as his senses had already begun to slowly fail.

First, it was his sense of hearing that went as even the thrashing of the rivers could no longer be heard by him

Next was his sense of feeling as he couldn't help anything around him, only the excruciating pain that came from within

With that, next was his sense of smell and taste with both stopped working almost simultaneously.

At this time, four of his five senses had completely stopped working

The goblins' bodily functions had begun to stop working and with the lack of hearing, even he couldn't hear his own screams anymore.

If it was somebody else perhaps they would have died already, However, the goblin was still preserving although currently on the brink of death

*I must not die!*

*I must not die!*

*I must not die!*

It was this singular thought that kept ringing through the goblin's mind allowing him to stay alive

Unfortunately, even the toughest of men would eventually break.

Another day passed and thus marked the third day of the goblin's agony

With no chance to eat, drink or do anything apart from shouting, the goblin's vocal cords had already been damaged making it even impossible for him to screen

Lying down in agony, three days without food had made it so that the goblin was too weak to move a muscle.

Now all he could do was lie down and stare at the ceiling in pain as he was currently unable to do anything else.

Five more days passed, and the same situation continued.

A total of seven days had gone by now making it a week since the goblins began to suffer such pain

However, what was shocking was that even though the goblin hadn't eaten nor drunk water for a week now he was still alive

With skin so rumpled and shrunk that his muscles seemed non-existent completely revealing his bones.

It looked like a corpse that was on the verge of decaying after being buried for a while.

Fortunately, the subtle movement of his chest as his heartbeat seemed to prove otherwise.

*Is this the end?*

*Why is everywhere becoming so dark?*

With blurred vision, the goblin began to resign to his fate

Just now, he felt his only remaining sensation sight begin to disappear

With the passage of time, darkness began to creep in from the corners of his vision as his pupils turned grey

It wasn't until about twenty minutes later that his vision went completely dark.

With that happening, the goblin could neither taste, feel, hear, touch nor see

Lying down on the cold hard ground, his current state seemed no different from death

Even his mind had completely gone blank, no longer allowing him to perform the act of thinking.

*Ba-dump!*

*Ba-dump*

*Ba-dump*

What, the whole area was completely silent as apart from the river, only the goblin's heartbeat sounded.

However, with every sound of his heart, both the speed and sound increased making it seem like it was about to explode.

*Ba-dump!*

*Ba-dump*

*Ba-dump*

As time passed, even a heart-shaped dent began to appear on the left side of the goblin's chest as it looked like the heart was about to break out of his body.

Unfortunately, the goblin who was only a candlestick away from death was currently unaware of this.

And even, if he was there was nothing he could do as currently inside his heart a fierce battle was underway.

Gold, silver, black

These three colours symbolise the three rivers had currently somehow found their way into the goblin's heart.

*Bang!*

*Bang!*

*Bang!*

With each collision, they increased his heartbeat while also making an excruciating pain run through his body.

Obviously, these three were the cause of his current predicament.

Thankfully, it seemed that his pain was soon about to end.

*Bang!*

*Bang!*

*Bang!*

Which each bang, the velocity behind each collision reduced making the next one weaker and weaker

And after over a week has passed, it looked like things had finally eased up.

Meeting together at the centre of the heart, this time there was no fierce collision as each of them had currently run out of gas.

This time, unlike the other times, after making contact the three powers seemed to merge into each other

And like three large pizza slices, the three of them joined together to form a circle with each gold, black and silver part separate.

*Boom!*

With the emergence of this circle, an explosion of chain reactions began to occur all over the goblin's body starting from the heart.

His blood became multi-coloured as its former red was discarded leaving only the representative gold, black, and silver

His shrivelled skin began to become fuller making it look like he was coming back to life.

All in all, with the appearance of this circle, it seemed to represent the end of the goblin's transformation.
