When they returned to the villa, Arlan brought Winter to his study. "You know about Virtual Reality, right?"

Winter calmly nodded her head. "Yes."

"Then can you make one for me?" Arlan asked with anticipation. If she could create a Virtual Reality World for him, he could make use of it to train his people.

"I can do it, but it will require a bit of time to create the system. What kind of Virtual World do you want me to create?" Winter asked expressionlessly.

"I want you to recreate the characteristics of Earth. Make it as close as possible. Actually, I want you to create some scenarios where we can train our soldiers' combat prowess. Also..." Although Arlan was ignorant before, he had seen many movies about Virtual Reality and he wanted to know if they could create one in the real world.

"I need a week to create the system. We also need a capsule to support the simulation of the Virtual World. To build one, I think I need around 20 days." Winter's abilities were related to research and engineering so this job wasn't difficult for her, but because she was the only one working on the project, she need a long time to complete it.

"Alright. Just give me the list of items that you will need in this project or you can give it to Jonas. Just tell him to gather all the items for you." Arlan knew that this wasn't an easy matter so he had to be patient with it.

Winter nodded her head and left the room with a calm look on her face.

"I shouldn't have made her indifferent..." Arlan clicked his tongue when he saw her expression.

Arlan headed to the living room and waited for Karl. More than thirty minutes later, Arlan heard the sound of vehicles moving towards the villa. "They are finally here..." He smiled as he stood up from his seat.

Arlan already informed Marco that he would receive fifty guests in his villa so that they wouldn't stop them at the entrance of the territory.

"Karl, just what kind of person are we meeting? Only the rich and powerful could buy a place here."

"I haven't seen you admire someone so much. This person must be very capable."

Fifty people alighted their vehicles one by one. From their temperament, one could immediately tell that they were from the army.

"You guys will see him soon." Karl chuckled when he saw their curious gazes.

While they were chatting, someone suddenly came out from the main door. It was Jonas, the butler of the villa.

"Welcome back, Sir Karl!" Jonas smiled at Karl. He then greeted the people behind him politely. "Everyone, welcome to the Lake View Villa! I am Jonas Ivan, the butler of this villa. Please follow me. The boss is waiting for you."

Jonas led them to the open space behind the villa which was just near where the helicopter was parked. Everyone curiously stared at the surroundings and they all revealed a look of awe when they saw the black helicopter parked on the open space. Further ahead, they saw two people standing in the middle of the open space, looking at them calmly. One was a man who exuded a mysterious aura, while the other was like a terrifying beast who revealed an overwhelming pressure that deterred them.

"Boss!" Karl and Jonas bowed at the man who had an air of mystery.

"Jonas, please get the gifts that we had prepared for our guests." Arlan said. When he told Karl to invite fifty men to the villa, he already made some preparations. He knew that it wouldn't be easy to hire people from the army so he had to show them that he could bring them endless benefits if they work for him.

"Yes, boss." Jonas acknowledged the command with a nod of his head. He then went back to the villa.

"Friends, thank you for coming to my villa. I don't know if Karl had already told you about my identity, but please allow me to introduce myself. I am Arlan Dominic Roa..." Arlan gave a short introduction about himself.

"Mr. Roa, why did you invite all of us here?" A lean man who looked to be in his mid-thirties asked with his arms crossed. He had an eyepatch on his left eye and he was wearing a black shirt and camouflage pants.

Arlan turned his gaze to the man and replied in a serious voice. "I hope that you guys will work for me. As you might have noticed, the villa is huge, but it doesn't have any security personnel. I only have Karl and Khalon with me, but it is too much for them to handle the job on their own."

"You want me to work as a bodyguard?" The person with an eyepatch sneered. He was one of the elite soldiers of Maharlika's Special Forces. Before he left the army, he was a captain of the Anti-Terrorist Squad. If he hadn't provoked the son of a Colonel, he would have had a great future in the army.

Karl frowned when he saw his friend disrespecting his boss. "Conrad!"

Khalon was also about to make a move, but Arlan raised his hand to stop him. "Before making a decision, please accept my greeting gift first." Arlan smiled as he turned his gaze towards Jonas who had returned with six maids. They were pushing tray carts with black briefcases.

"Please distribute the gifts to our guests." Arlan told them.

"Yes, boss!" Jonas and the maids handed the briefcases to the fifty people. After giving them the briefcases, they left without saying a word.

"Inside those briefcases are ten million pesos each." Arlan muttered as he lit up a cigarette.

"What?! Ten million pesos!" Everyone was stunned by his generosity. Even Conrad was surprised. When he was still a captain in the army, his monthly salary was only 60,000 pesos. He needed to work for over ten years to earn that much money!
