"This is your car?" Lydio asked his son in surprise. Anaflor also stared at the Subaru Forester with her eyes open wide.
Arlan sweated when he saw the inquisitive look of his parents. "Ah... this car was given by the hotel as part of my compensation package. My position in the hotel is quite special so they said that it is only right for me to have one." He said while forcing out a smile.
"Really? That's too generous of them!" Anaflor muttered while looking at her son suspiciously.

Just as Arlan was about to say something, his phone suddenly rang. "You guys get inside first. I have to take this call." He quickly told his parents. The call came at the right time for him.
"Hello! This is Arlan Dominic Roa speaking." He was in a good mood since he managed to evade his parents' inquiry.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Roa! This is Laurence Finn of Blackrock Incorporated. Morgan Stan of Morgan Stanley Investment Management is also here with me. We'd like to know if your schedule is free for tonight." The person over the phone spoke in English. His voice was calm and Arlan could feel the dignity in his tone.

"Yes, Mr. Roa. We are about to board a private jet. We should be in Ninoy Aquino International Airport before 9 in the evening." Laurence replied while looking at the time on his watch. He was walking side by side with an old man with graying hair.
"Oh! I wish you two a pleasant journey! I will be waiting for you here in Maharlika! I will make sure to pick you two up with a grand convoy befitting your status!" Arlan's reply made Laurence smile. He then gave a thumbs up to the old man walking beside him.
"Hahaha! Great! See you soon, Mr. Roa!" Laurence disconnected the call with a hearty laugh.
