The limousine arrived at City Land Hotel safely.

"Mr. Roa, do you have more orders for me?" Zed asked as soon as Arlan stepped out of the vehicle.

Arlan shook his head. "You should head back to Pegasus Hotel. There might be some guests who need this limousine. Just convey my thanks to Krizia and tell her that I had a good time."

Zed nodded her head. "Take care, Mr. Roa." She bowed deeply.

Arlan waved his hand as he muttered. "You too." He then went inside the building with Sofia.

After they left, Zed returned to the limousine and drove off.

Arlan didn't see the three cars following them, but he didn't lower his vigilance. If those people were targeting him, they wouldn't leave just like that.

He grabbed his phone and dialed Terrence's number. When the call connected, Terrence's joyful voice could be heard over the phone. "Arlan, you called just right on time! Haha! That guy Jackson is already locked up in jail. I guarantee that he won't be able to come out for the rest of his life."

Hearing this, Arlan's face broke into a smile. "That's great, but I didn't call you for that." He suddenly turned serious.

Terrence also noticed the change in his tone. "Is it serious?" He asked in a low voice.

"I will tell you about it when the time comes. Anyway, I hope that you can ensure the safety of the family staying in my unit." Arlan didn't want to involve Terrence in this matter.

Terrence didn't insist when he heard this. He could only wait for Arlan to tell him everything. "Alright. As long as they are in the hotel, we can sure ensure their safety. If they leave the building, I'll ask some people to protect them."

"Thank you. I owe you some drinks." Arlan heaved a sigh of relief.

"I won't hold back when the time comes! Hahaha!" Terrence laughed heartily.

Arlan couldn't help but smile when he heard his words. He then disconnected the call. While keeping his phone inside his pocket, he looked up at Sofia and said. "Your family will be safe as long as you stay in the hotel. It would be better if you don't come out too often. Leandro's men might be lurking somewhere, waiting for you guys. As for your father, I've already notified the police to send more officers to the hospital."

Sofia was relieved when she heard this. Her mother called her earlier and told her that she was in the hospital. Knowing that the hospital has many police officers, she didn't have to worry about her parents. The only one she had to worry about was her brother. That kid was a troublemaker and he might do something stupid again. "Thank you, Arlan..." She didn't call him boss this time. She was beyond grateful to him.

Arlan smiled and shook his head. "It's nothing. You should head upstairs and check on your brother."

Sofia nodded her head. She was also worried about him. "Alright. Be careful on your way back."

"I will." Arlan muttered before he left. His expression turned cold the moment he turned around. He observed the people around him at the corner of his eyes. No one seemed to be suspicious so he headed out of the hotel.

After stepping out of the hotel, Arlan walked calmly. His eyes roamed around the street, searching for anything suspicious. Suddenly, he noticed a head poking out at the rooftop of the three-story building next to City Land Hotel. Arlan moved his body next to the wall to prevent the other party from seeing him. He didn't know if that person was armed with a gun so he had to be careful. Soon, he reached the corner of the street and made a turn to the right. More people were walking on the side of the road since this place was near Waltermart, a local supermarket. He followed the crowd and hid himself among the sea of civilians.

Meanwhile, the people who were secretly following Arlan lost sight of him.

"Where is he?!"

"F*ck! We lost him!"

"Quick! Search for that guy! Follow me inside. He might have gone inside the supermarket!"

The person on top of the three-story building also lost sight of Arlan. He lowered the sniper rifle in his hands and cursed. "Sh*t! He noticed us!" He then stuffed the sniper rifle inside a guitar case before going down from the rooftop of the building.

Arlan was already inside a taxi. He had the experience of a super soldier and counter reconnaissance was one of the things he learned. Even elite soldiers would have a hard time catching him.

"Sir, where are we headed to?" The taxi driver asked while looking at Arlan through the rearview mirror.

"To the Royal Territory." He answered while leaning on his seat.

The taxi driver was taken aback when he heard this. The Royal Territory was a famous subdivision in Manila and only the most filthy rich individuals could live there. He stared at Arlan's face through the mirror before turning his gaze to the road. He then drove off silently.

Arlan felt his phone vibrating. He opened his eyes while pulling his phone out of his pocket.

[You managed to evade the pursuit of your enemies using your experience as a super soldier! You can now claim your reward!]

[Do you want to claim your reward?]

Arlan immediately hit [Yes].

[Congratulations! You claimed one Prototype Energy Pistol! Can be fired 10x per day.]

A twelve-inch black case suddenly appeared on top of his lap. He quickly pulled the zipper of the case and saw a pistol with a sleek design. The gun was silver in color with complex patterns engraved on its handle. The top center of the gun's barrel was translucent like a mirror. He could see the blue light being emitted by the energy source through this translucent part of the Prototype Energy Pistol.

He quickly closed the zipper when he noticed the driver looking at him through the mirror.
