Arlan slowly opened his eyes and found himself lying on the floor inside his room. His clothes were soaking wet and there was even a small puddle of sweat on the floor. He slowly lifted his body while trying to remember what happened.
"I passed out after drinking the Gene Evolution Liquid." He mumbled as he slowly walked towards the mirror. His skin was on the light brown side before, but it looked fairer now as if he had been injected with glutathione. His jaw became more refined as if it was finely sculpted into perfection.
"I don't want to become more handsome! I want to be stronger! Why is it like this?! A face like this is useless in the apocalypse!" Arlan complained when he saw his reflection.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Boss, dinner is ready!"
"Alright! I'll go downstairs after a quick bath." Arlan answered.
"Okay, boss!"
Arlan removed his clothes and wrapped a towel around his waist. He then entered the bathroom and took a quick hot bath.
"Feels good..." He mumbled as he submerged himself inside the hot tub.
After a ten-minute bath, Arlan wore a white bathrobe and went downstairs to have dinner.
"Boss, what happened to your face? What kind of beauty products did you use?" Thelma immediately bombarded him with questions.
The other maids were also stunned when they saw Arlan. He looked more handsome now, like a model in a fashion magazine.
"I don't know. It's probably from the glutathione capsules I regularly take." Arlan replied with a forced smile.
After dinner, Arlan headed to the gym room to test out his strength. He tried to lift the weights that he couldn't lift before and he discovered that he could lift them easily now. "Hahaha! I knew it!" He laughed heartily. His strength has improved once again. He also noticed that he didn't feel tired after lifting weights for almost an hour.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
Arlan dropped the barbell and grabbed his phone. "Hello, Winter. What's up?"
"Karl and Conrad found the person who sent the intruder to Mazda." Winter reported in a cold voice.
"Oh? They finally discovered something, huh? Wait for me there. I'll go to your office soon." Arlan disconnected the call and headed straight to Winter's office.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
He knocked on the door before he opened it. When he entered the room, he saw Winter sitting behind the desk.
Arlan grabbed a chair and placed it beside her. He then took a seat and asked while looking at her. "So who is it? Who sent those people?"
Winter didn't even glance at him as she replied. "Look here. According to their report, the person who sent those people is from Hyundai. He is the secretary of..."
Arlan stared at the screen of the computer and read the report sent by Karl and Conrad.

Hearing this, Arlan shrugged his shoulders. "Just give them a warning and scare them a bit. They didn't discover anything anyway so there's no need to be harsh on them."
"Alright. I'll convey your words to them." Winter nodded her head expressionlessly.
"By the way, how is Khalon doing?" Arlan asked. It has been almost a week since Khalon was placed inside the Regeneration Capsule.
"Didn't you read the doctor's emails?" Winter stared at him coldly. "They said that Khalon would be taken out of the capsule tomorrow."
Arlan heaved a sigh of relief. "That's good. I thought that you two are impenetrable to bullets, but it looks like I was wrong." He sighed while shaking his head.
"You overestimate us. We are not as omnipotent as you think. We also have our weaknesses." Winter silently observed his face after saying that.
"Leave." She muttered just when he thought that she was shocked by the change in his appearance.
Arlan grinned as he stood up from his seat. "You should sleep early today." He said before he stepped out of the room. Tomorrow, he will go to the sea east of Catanduanes to meet the transport crew of the De Luca Family.

Arlan woke up early the next day. He took a hot bath and headed to Catanduanes via helicopter. He only brought Krizia and Cedrick with him. They met with the soldiers of Rear Admiral Fuliand at the port of Catanduanes.
Arlan stared at the ship that was sent by the Arms Corporation of Maharlika. It was a battleship that could accommodate 300 crew members.
Arlan and the other two climbed up the ship.
"Greetings, Mr. Roa! Rear Admiral Fuliand sent us here to escort you!" An officer greeted him respectfully. This guy was one of the admiral's closest aides.
"We will be in your care, then." Arlan smiled at him.
"It's our pleasure to serve you." The officer said in a stiff voice.
"Let's set out." Arlan commanded.
"Yes, Mr. Roa!" The officer nodded his head.
They traveled for several hours to reach their destination. On the journey, Arlan watched the beautiful scenery of the sea with Krizia. He didn't feel bored looking at the boundless ocean.
"Mr. Roa, there is a ship that entered our radar. We've already sent two stealth submarines to observe their firepower. We will receive a report from them in a few minutes." The officer reported as he brought them to the control room.
"That should be the people from the De Luca Family. Contact them after we receive the report from our scouts." Arlan said as he looked at the radar.
"Yes, Mr. Roa!"
Soon, the scouts inside the stealth submarines contacted them and reported the results of their observations.
"Mr. Roa, they aren't a threat to us. Their ship is only a modified transport vessel." The officer commented after hearing the report.
"Alright. Go ahead and contact those people. I want to confirm if it's them." Arlan was no longer worried after they heard the scouts' report.
"Yes, Mr. Roa!"
