Arlan left the office while Terrence followed him.

"My dad actually gave you that unit! You're really lucky, buddy!" Terrence chuckled lightly.

Arlan smiled at his words, but he soon put on a serious look as he said. "By the way, a friend of mine will be here in a while. He is someone close to me so I hope that you will respect him regardless of his status. That guy was kicked out of his job because of me and someone is even deliberately making things difficult for him, causing him to be unable to find a new job."

"What do you take me for? Come on, buddy! Your friend is also my friend! Don't worry. I'll give him a job in our hotel. It just so happened that one of our managers resigned recently so we'll see if he could do the job. If not, there are still some vacancies." Terrence muttered reassuringly.

"Thanks." Arlan was grateful that he had gotten to know Terrence. This guy was a bit arrogant, but he was a good friend.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Arlan immediately grabbed his phone and answered the call. "Charles, are you here?"

"Yes, I'll wait for you downstairs." Charles replied.

"Alright. We'll be there soon. I'll introduce you to someone." Arlan said before hanging up the call.

"Let's go get him." He muttered to Terrence.

"Alright."

The two headed to the ground floor of the hotel and they saw Charles sitting in the public lounge.

"Charles!" Arlan called out to him.

Charles followed the direction of the voice and saw Arlan walking towards him. He also noticed that there was a tall young man dressed in expensive clothes walking beside Arlan.

"It's good to see you!" Arlan patted his friend's shoulder.

"Yeah, you too."

"Oh, right. This person right here is Terrence. He is the son of the hotel's owner." Arlan pointed at Terrence as he introduced him.

"Terrence, this is my good friend, Charles. He is like a big brother to me."

"Nice to meet you!"

"Likewise!"

Arlan checked the time on his watch and said. "Let's go grab some lunch."

"Alright."

They went to the nearest restaurant and ordered some food. After getting their orders, the three chatted about random topics and when their food arrived, Terrence suddenly said. "Charles, I heard from Arlan that you are looking for a job. I wonder if you are interested in working as a manager in our hotel? We need talented people like you."

Charles stared at Arlan when he heard this. He then turned his gaze to Terrence and answered. "Although I haven't tried working as a manager, but I have confidence in managing some people. If you don't mind having me, I'll be more than happy to accept your offer." He was almost going insane after not finding a job. He didn't want to miss this chance.

"Great! We'll sign the paperwork later!" Terrence laughed lightly.

"Sure!" Charles was happy that he had finally gotten a new job, but he knew that this was only possible because of Arlan.

"Now, let's talk about how we should deal with Jackson." Arlan muttered in a cold voice.

Charles and Terrence shuddered when they saw the expression on his face. It was the face of someone who was about to commit a crime!

"Buddy, I know that you are incredibly angry about this Jackson guy, but don't take the law into your own hands." Terrence muttered in a grave voice.

Charles nodded his head in agreement. "Terrence is right. However, I managed to take this from his office before I left the company. We can use this to destroy his future." He grabbed a flash drive from his pocket and put it on the table.

Arlan's eyes regained clarity when he heard their words. He didn't realize that the ten years of super soldier experience was starting to affect his thought process. "What's inside this thing?" He asked as he grabbed the flash drive.

Charles smirked as he muttered. "Evidence of him using the company funds to purchase personal items. I managed to copy a file that contains all his transactions when he was using the company's money."

"Good! With that evidence, I'll help you guys put that guy behind bars. I promise you that he won't be able to get out." Terrence chuckled.

Arlan's eyes brightened upon hearing this. "Who would have thought that you would actually manage to get this information? You're actually a computer genius!" He handed the flash drive to Terrence.

Charles laughed as he shook his head. "I'm no computer genius. I've been watching Jackson in secret and I happen to get his password. I took the chance to open his computer on his day off. Initially, I planned to deal with him myself, but I figured that I should let you know about it as well."

The three started plotting how they would destroy Jackson's future.

After lunch, they parted ways. Charles and Terrence left together to sign some paperwork, while Arlan went back to his hotel room.

When he arrived, he saw that there was a beautiful woman waiting at the door.

"Excuse me, are you Mr. Roa?" She asked.

"Yes, and you are?" Arlan stared at her curiously. It was the first time he had seen her.

The beautiful girl smiled sweetly as she introduced herself. "I'm sorry for the late introduction. I'm Kate Flores, Mr. Montefalco's secretary. It's a pleasure to know you, Mr. Roa."

"Oh? Hello, Ms. Flores." Arlan smiled.

"You can just call me Kate, Mr. Roa."

"Alright, Kate. You can also call me Arlan. Anyway, why are you looking for me?" Arlan asked.

Kate handed the envelope she was holding to him and said. "Mr. Montefalco asked me to have you sign these documents. He said that you can do whatever you want with unit number 66 after everything has been taken care of."

"I see. Let's go inside first and we'll talk about it." Arlan smiled as he opened the door of his hotel room.

Kate revealed a strange expression, but she still followed him inside.
