Arlan's face twitched. "Then why did you not inform me about it? Nevermind. Can you just tell me what's going on?"
Winter stared at him and replied. "There was indeed an infiltration, but they were captured before they could discover anything. I didn't report it since I still don't know the mastermind."
"You mean the perpetrator isn't an employee?" Arlan crossed his legs as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
Winter nodded her head. "That's right. The person who orchestrated this was very careful. I wasn't even able to find anything that would lead to the mastermind."
"Oh? What do you think we should do?" Arlan was surprised that Winter failed to trace the person responsible.
"There's no need for you to go there in person. Just send Karl and Conrad to investigate this matter. The other party might be just trying to find out what Mazda is doing. This is just a trivial matter so there's no need to be concerned about it." Winter didn't think too much about the incident.
Arlan shrugged his shoulders. "I'll send a team together with Karl and Conrad." He then stood up and left the room.
Arlan trusted Winter, but he wanted to make sure that everything was fine. He summoned Karl and Conrad to his study and he informed them about the incident.
"...I want you guys to dig deeper into this issue. There might be something more to it." Arlan leaned on his chair with a serious look on his face.
"Yes, boss!"
"Just send a daily report to Krizia. You may go." Arlan dismissed them after giving their orders.
Arlan left the mansion with Krizia and Khalon after dealing with this matter. They headed to the construction site in Catanduanes to observe the progress of the project. He didn't inform Terrence and Luke that he was planning to go there. He wanted to give them a surprise visit.
It was already 2 in the afternoon when they arrived at the construction. There were clouds of dust everywhere so Arlan and Krizia wore a face mask.
Their arrival surprised the workers and the engineers.
"It's Mr. Roa! Quick! Inform the boss that they are here!"
A group of middle-aged engineers and architects greeted them respectfully. "Greetings, Mr. Roa!"
"How is the construction going?" Arlan asked.
"Mr. Roa, as you can see, we have already started laying down the foundations. Our team is working twenty-four-seven to ensure that we will complete the project in the allotted time." One of them replied in a proud voice.
"Good! Take me to Mr. Montefalco. I'd like to speak with him." Arlan only came here to take a look, but he didn't want to leave without informing Luke and Terrence.
The engineers and architects escorted him to Luke's temporary office. "Mr. Roa, the boss is out to get some materials from our supplier so only Sir Terrence is in the office right now."
"It's fine." Arlan waved his hand as he entered the office with Krizia. Khalon stayed outside to prevent anyone from disturbing them.
Arlan saw Terrence sitting behind the desk. There was a mountain of documents on the table and he was working on them with great attention. When he heard the door's 'clicking' sound, he raised his head wearily. "Arlan? Buddy, you should have told me that you will come today!" He immediately stood up to bump fists with Arlan.
Arlan chuckled as he shook his head. "I only came here to observe the situation. I won't stay here for long. I still have to visit the Shark Reef Islands after this."
"Is that so? Take a seat first." Terrence put a laptop on top of the documents to prevent them from flying away.
"There's no need. I just want to see how are you doing." Arlan waved his hand.
"Well, as you have noticed, I'm dealing with those documents. My father's secretary is away for an important meeting so I'm temporarily doing her job." Terrence smiled bitterly.
Arlan laughed when he saw his expression. He then patted Terrence's shoulder as he said. "I won't disturb you then. Let's go buy some drinks after you are done with them."
Terrence's eyes lit up upon hearing this. "Alright. I'll be done with this before 7 p.m. I'll call you later." It has been a long time since they last went out with their friends.
"Sure. You can inform the others in advance." Arlan bid him farewell shortly after that.
The Montefalco Family was very reliable. The housing project for his soldiers was progressing well and from what he saw, they should be able to complete everything on time.
Arlan's group headed to the Shark Reef Islands via boat. The people who escorted them were Rear Admiral Fuliand's men. They have been protecting the vicinity of the Shark Reef Islands since the construction of the island fortress began.
When they arrived, Renz De Guzman was already at the port waiting for them.
"Mr. Roa!" Renz shouted as he waved at them.
Arlan was surprised when he saw Renz.

There was a vehicle waiting for them. Renz gave them a tour around the main island and showed them the progress of the construction.
Arlan and Krizia were surprised to see so many people working on the project. According to Renz, they hired more than ten thousand people to work on the project.
Arlan was satisfied by what he saw. The De Guzman Family really went all out to make this happen. "I'm very pleased with your work, Mr. De Guzman."
"We are just doing our job." Renz smiled at him.
