"Mr. Zulu, my offer still stands. I'd like to hire the services of your company for the next ten years. I will give you a payment of 1 billion dollars and additional benefits depending on your performance. I also give individual incentives to the best-performing soldier in your company." Arlan stated his offer with his fingers crossed on the table.

Tafari remained calm on the surface, but his subordinates couldn't hide the surprise in their gazes. Their company was established ten years ago, but they haven't received a big contract in the recent years. The most they got was the 100 million USD payment for rescuing Arlan's group.

Tafari shook his head as he said. "Mr. Roa, your offer is very tempting, but you have to know that we have more than twenty thousand soldiers in the company. 1 billion dollars isn't enough if you want our service for ten years. I'm not trying to cheat you here, but we truly need a lot of money for the maintenance of our equipment and facilities."

Arlan tapped his fingers on the table as he calmly said. "2 billion USD and I will also shoulder the maintenance of your equipment and facilities. Furthermore, I will double the soldiers' salaries and make sure that their families will have a home in Maharlika."

Tafari's eyes flashed with hesitation when he heard this. He also heard his subordinates gulping down hard at the shocking offer. "Mr. Roa..." He wanted to ask Arlan why he was so generous with his offer, but Arlan suddenly spoke.

"I will give you 3 billion dollars right now and I will create a training facility for your men in Maharlika..."

"This... I accept!" Tafari hurriedly said as he tried to regain his composure. The annual profit of their company was only in the tens of millions since most of their earnings go to equipment maintenance and development of the company.

"Great! It's a pleasure to work with you, Mr. Zulu." Arlan grinned as he shook hands with Tafari. "I will let my subordinates handle the documentation. Please excuse me." Arlan left after saying those words.

Krizia sat on his chair and introduced herself. "Hello, Mr. Zulu! I'm Mr. Roa's assistant, Krizia Rosalez. I will handle the documentation process with you."

"Alright..." Tafari's mind was still blank at this moment. He didn't think that his company would actually land such a massive contract.

Krizia handed the documents to him. She then explained the future direction of the Legion Military Company.

Tafari didn't see anything amiss in the contract so he signed them immediately. "Miss Krizia, do we really have to transfer our base here in Maharlika?" This was his only concern. His people were already used to life in South Africa so there might be some opposition that will happen.

Krizia nodded her head. "That's right. It would be a lot easier for us if the Legion Military Company is here. You don't need to worry about anything, Mr. Zulu. We will handle the cost and we will also ensure that your soldiers' families would have a nice home here. Their kids will be able to go to school and their wives would have jobs waiting for them."

Tafari turned silent at her words. The benefits they provided were already beyond his expectations. "In that case, let me thank you guys on behalf of my people..." Tafari solemnly said.

Krizia smiled at him. "You guys are already one of us. There's no need for such courtesy."

After the contract signing, Tafari and his men were escorted to Pegasus Hotel.

On their way to the hotel, one of his subordinates suddenly said. "Boss, am I dreaming right now? Did we just get a payment of 3 billion dollars?"

"It looks like our sacrifices have paid off... You guys have to work well and don't disappoint Mr. Roa's trust." Tafari was also in disbelief.

"Yes, boss!"

Arlan was drinking wine on the balcony of his mansion when Krizia walked to his side. "Mr. Roa, everything went smoothly. We just need to wait for the arrival of the soldiers." She reported.

"Not bad. Inform the Rising Dragon Group about their new project. I want the base and the training facility to be made in less than 2 months. I don't care how many people they hire to expedite the process. I just want results." More than fifty days have passed since he first claimed his daily reward. Time was running out and he was becoming more anxious as the days went by.

"Yes, Mr. Roa. Do you also want me to inform the De Guzman Family and the Montefalco Family about this?" Krizia asked tentatively.

Arlan hesitated for a moment before he shook his head. "There's no need to tell them now. There might be some moles from the government on their side. We have to be careful not to alert them."

"Alright. I'll take my leave now." Krizia bowed before taking her leave.

Arlan stared at the peaceful night sky while swirling his glass of wine. "For how long would this peace last?" He sighed with a complicated look on his face.

The next day, Arlan received a report from Mazda that someone was trying to infiltrate their manufacturing facility.

"Was there a leak about our flying car project?" He frowned as he quickly jumped out of bed. Recently, he ordered the company to make more flying cars and to temporarily stop the production of the other vehicles. This move might have attracted the attention of other car brands.

After washing up, Arlan headed to Winter's room.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Come in." Winter's cold voice echoed inside the room.

Arlan pushed the door and saw Winter sitting on her bed with a calm expression.

"I received a report from Mazda. There seems to be a situation there." Arlan said as he grabbed a chair.

"You're talking about the infiltration?"

Arlan was taken aback by her words. "You already know?"

"How could I not know? You asked me to monitor them." Winter stared at him expressionlessly.
