Chapter 134 - I Don't Wanna Go!

Albion's thoughts did not linger on the topic as he shifted his gaze and looked into the depths of the void beyond the command center's clear screen with an indecipherable expression, affecting Polemos's mood to also become solemn.

"What's the situation on the three Horsemen? Have you been keeping track of their movements?" Albion asked impassively.

"Yes, my Lord." Polemos nodded solemnly.

"After hacking in their private network, their actions have never left my sight since half a year ago. However, just the other day, all my hidden spyware was suddenly destroyed. Evidently, they have been uneasy and more cautious ever since you revealed your absolute might to the world, my Lord."

"They destroyed all your hidden spyware at the same time, huh? Seems like your so-called hidden spyware weren't so hidden after all," Albion casually remarked.

"Yes, my Lord." Polemos nodded before adding, "However, they were just decoys. I knew that they have planted spyware of their own to counterspy me, so I planted another spyware to counterspy their counterspying."

"However, they also knew about this, so they have also planted another spyware to counterspy my counterspying that I planted to counterspy their counterspying—"

"Enough!"

Albion thundered before rubbing his forehead with distress, feeling an incoming headache from listening to Polemos's roundabout explanation.

He had a feeling that the mother f*cker would go on forever if he did not stop him.

After frowning slightly, Albion barked, "Just get to the point."

"Ahem. My apologies for taking up your precious time, my Lord." Polemos coughed awkwardly before he continued, "Basically, I have always been one step ahead of them, my Lord."

"And how does that answer my question? What are the other three Horsemen up to?"

"Right, my apologies again, my Lord," Polemos apologized again before wearing a solemn look.

"Empress Una is residing in Ashura Group's headquarters, situated in Haven City, seemingly unconcerned with your return—but in truth, she is secretly seeking a closer connection with the Federation through the World Government."

"Emperor Thanatos's traces have disappeared after destroying my spyware, but I managed to track his last known location through the satellite. He seemed to be looking for an opportunity in the Ancient Whispering Rainforest."

"Similarly, Emperor Kasin went looking for his opportunity in the Grand Sahara Desert. I'm not sure why these two went two these two perilous lands, but I'm willing to bet that they have obtained some valuable information regarding the lost treasures of ancient times."

"Are you finally planning to take action against these three traitors, my Lord?" Polemos asked shortly after his explanation.

"Hm, nah. I was just curious."

Albion responded nonchalantly, immediately stunning Polemos before the person took a moment to recover before asking with doubt, "Wouldn't it be wiser to kill them before they are given a chance to grow, my Lord?"

"I already have the ultimate power in this world. Them growing a little bit stronger poses no threat to me whatsoever. More importantly, don't you think it will be too easy on them if I were to grant them a swift death after they betrayed me?"

"Besides, they have become pillars of the current world. If they all die, the world will fall into chaos, and many people will undoubtedly die," Albion stated.

"Um, I'm not sure I follow, but it seems like my Lord is showing concern for the people. As expected of my Lord. The world is yours, and the people are naturally all your subjects. To show compassion even for your enemies, this subordinate is in awe of—"

"Three of the Four Horsemen seats have been vacant since the betrayal of the three. I believe the best way to have my revenge would be to raise even stronger Horsemen than them and have them kill the traitors for me," Albion stated before Polemos could finish speaking.

Shortly after, Albion added, "Don't you think they would deeply regret their choices of betraying me after understanding what they have missed out on at the moments of their death?"

"I see…" Polemos's lips twitched before his eyes suddenly flickered with a thought, "Then, Junior Wudi will be…?"

"He is a suitable candidate for one of the empty seats, but I will have to observe him for a bit longer. For now, go summon him for me. I will be bringing him with me on a short trip back to Earth," Albion stated coolly.

"Understood, my Lord," Polemos complied before turning to a subordinate and ordered, "You, go bring my junior, Cao Wudi, over here for me."

"Yes, Your Majesty!" The subordinate answered and left to carry out the task given, no questions asked.

Suddenly, there a commotion broke out within the command center.

"Your Majesty, the aliens have mounted a sudden attack and breached our first line of defense in the asteroid belt!" A subordinate suddenly shouted, causing Polemos to frown slightly.

"Show me!"

"Yes, Your Majesty."

At the same time, Albion raised his head to look at the situation shortly displayed on-screen before he casually offered his help, "Do you want me to resolve this problem for you, Polemos?"

"No, my Lord!" Polemos shook his head before patting his chest proudly, "Such a small matter does not require your personal intervention. If I cannot even deal with a trivial matter like this, then I would be unworthy of my seat as one of the Horsemen!"

"Well, alright. Suit yourself."

Albion shrugged nonchalantly. He was too lazy to do it anyway.

He flipped out his phone and began surfing the net for news pertaining to recent events in Silvercove City to kill time while he waited.

Not long after, Cao Wudi arrived with the previous subordinate before he asked, "Senior Polemos, what did you need me for—"

Cao Wudi's expression immediately froze upon spotting Albion standing next to Polemos. Shortly after, his body shook with a bad feeling.

"I didn't call for you. The Lord did," Polemos stated truthfully before Cao Wudi turned to Albion.

"Master, what did you call me for? Please don't tell me we are going to train! No, no, no. Anything but that—!"

"We are back to Earth to deal with some things."

"Oh… Phew, safe," Cao Wudi patted his chest with relief.

But before he could fully feel relieved, Albion's lip curved into a sly and wicked smile, "We can begin your training after that."

Cao Wudi's expression froze before becoming appalled shortly after as he began refusing vehemently, "God, No! Please, Master! No, no, nooo! I don't wanna go!"
