Chapter 574 Little Red Clock-1
In the end Hannah won the argument. She was elated but Samuel was having a tough time, he didn't know how long would she stay there but she said it was few days but with about a month of holidays, it could be weeks.
" Alright, let's head home then."
" Wait, first let's get my stuff. I already packed everything so you don't have to wait long. Grandpa John, you know the way to our family restaurant right?"
" Yes, miss." John answered positively. Little Red clock had became a household name and one of the reason for it was people could often find, Samuel there. After his couple of films got released, it was hard to go around without his disguise. Few people would also stake the restaurant trying to catch a glimpse of him making it an ideal stop for his fans to gather.

" You already knew I was going to agree?"
" Of course! Who do you think I am?" Kiko started giggling looking at Samuel's awkward face. It was the final nail in the coffin before he accepted the reality. Whatever he did, she would find a way if she made up her mind.

They pulled up to the back entrance of the restaurant, it was because the front was jammed pack with customers. Samuel didn't know why there were so many people before evening but he knew he had to put his disguise inside the car first to avoid any accidents.
" Grandpa please wait here, we will be back in few minutes." She got off along with Kiko.
" I will also go inside and say high to mother. We haven't seen each other for ages, you could also come and grab something to eat? It's almost lunch time." he suggested.
" It's fine, I had a big breakfast so I am not feeling hungry beside, my wife wouldn't eat without me eating first. It's kind of her tradition." John prompty declined.
" Alright then, I will be back in a few." He walked inside and immediately heard clamoring because the kitchen was jammed filled with staffs. Few of them immediately recognized him since, Hannah gave them a heads up but new staff that were hired few months back were confused by a stranger entering in their kitchen.
" Sir, may I help you?"
" It's fine let him go. It's great to see you again." Samuel only nodded and left without saying any word. The first staff was puzzled but when he told him who it was, his reaction was priceless.
Everyone had heard the rumor but most of them took it as a marketing campaign by the restaurant to boost their sales. He couldn't believe that he was actually there to witness it.
" Can I meet him? I really want to get his autograph since my girlfriend loves him so much!"
" You can, he is pretty chill about it. Since there are a lot of customers, he will use this entrance again. Just grab a piece of paper and something to write with."
Meanwhile Samuel walked briskly toward the office, he could feel people staring at him because of his fancy outfit. There was no knowing if someone would connect the dot, even with his disguise his powers would be void if they had any suspicion about his identity.
He hurriedly entered the room and closed the door behind him. The place was a mess, there were papers everywhere. The only reason why because Aaron was a old school guy and liked to put everything down on papers.
He had suggested that they either hired someone or learned to operate on computers since everything would be done digitally in few years but they refused to budge.
He saw then going over few documents while Hannah and Kiko were busy gathering their belongings that they stashed in the corner of the room. It was surprising because no one noticed him, they were too busy in their work.
" It's great to see that I am becoming more and more invisible day by day." He said loudly grabbing their attention.
" Oh, my baby!" Carol immediately stood up," why didn't you tell me you came with him?" She questioned Hannah.
" And ruin the surprise?" She replied with a grin.
" You see? This brat will give me a heart attack someday." Carol said but her feet didn't stop moving. She came and hugged him tightly, rubbing her face in his chest. She still vividly remember the scrawny little boy that was barely taller than her shoulders, but seeing him growing up to a impressive young man always warmed her heart.
" I am back mother." He hugged her back and said with a soft tone. Suddenly he heard her sobbing, he could feel her body shake as she started crying.
" What happened to her?" He turned toward Aaron but he didn't say anything. He tried to get back to look at her face but she refused to let him go.
" If you are embarrassed about few gray hair on top of your head, I don't really mind. Everyone get old at some point." He tried to be funny.
" You! I am not old!" It worked, she pushed him and he finally get to see her face which was already a a mess.
" You know how worried we were! You can't even give us a call and just waltzed in here like its no big deal!" Samuel knew what she was talking about. He knew he was wrong with not contacting anyone, not even his family because of what happened to Elise but there was no chance that he was going to say anything about it. It would only worry her to death!
" I was about to but then I thought, old people likes to sleep early. It's better to not disturb especially yours because that would have affected your everlasting beauty."
" You brat! You think it's funny!" She hit him in the chest but she felt like hitting a wall.
" I am sorry but it's all part of the process right? I get to visit a foreign prison in my teenage years, isn't that cool?"
" You-" Everyone started laughing, even Carol couldn't stay mad at him. She was ready with a full speech and a life lesson but Samuel just blew it off the park with his quirky jokes.
